EastEnders - Keanu Taylor and Max Branning Confrontation (3rd May 2018)

This was kind of interesting as I thought these two were always on good terms, sucks Keanu acted kind of cowardly here.
Of course Sharon had to interrupt and deprive us of another fight.

Keanu was pretty green here. 2019-2020 Keanu probably would've decked Max.

I don't think so either, but there are some I've read who have him above Mick Carter, which is ridiculous. Personally I've always had him slightly below Alfie Moon (before he got cancer), and why shouldn't I honestly? Max's best showings are against Jack, and as far as I'm concerned Alfie did more damage to him with one punch than Max ever did in a full-fledged fight.

@@Darskul that's true. Mick would batter Max no question. Max is very inconsistent, he's a bit like Carl King from Emmerdale. He knows how to fight, has moments where he wins, and has moments where he loses. One minute he fights good, but then fights bad. Jack has always beat Max in their fights, even if Max starts it, he always loses. Keanu put up good fights, against Phil and Martin, who have both punched Max. I am sorry, but Keanu would wipe the floor with Max.

@@user-sv3qs5rv7pmax is nothing like Carl 😂 Carl fought his brothers who were all the hardest on the show at the time harder than cain an all so I mean also Carl beat cain when he tried to break into the haulage in 2006 so I mean Carl definitely isn’t inconsistent 😂

I think at this point a fight between them would've been close, but a year or two later and Keanu would've battered him!

I agree, Keanu did too good against Martin and notably Phil to lose to Max, I just really couldn't see it happening. I don't think it's fair to count his showings against Ben as bad showings, and the Keanu who fought the gang leader was pretty green, all things considered. As for his fights with Ben I don't count those as bad showings for Keanu, I count them more as good showings for Ben.

I didnt see this but keanu would probably punch him up max has beat no hardman martin is a strong guy but he is so overatted and phil is just well a crackhead but yh keanu would beat max up pretty badly

@@Darskul max didn't fight Phil because he was defeated already and he has a worse temper and bigger strength than keanu, I'm not saying keanu is weak, he is hard but max is Inconsistent that's why.

It's honestly a 50/50 fight but if I had to pick a winner, I'd pick Keanu. Max could potentially beat him but he's had alot of embarassing losses while Keanu hasn't lost to anyone apart from Phil and Martin (and he didn't make it easy for either).

@@Hoops_2004 I doubt Max is stronger then Keanu, Keanu's punches floored big dudes like Mitch and did real damage to Martin. I have Martin and Keanu as near-equal, and Martin would batter Max. Max was able to fight back against Jack a few times but Jack handled him very easily each time, even in the Vic back in the late 2000's when he got a punch in, it did nothing and Max still lost. Their other fights, forget it, Jack easily dominated all of them. Max was able to beat Adam White the first time, but the second, Adam easily handled him. My reasoning in Max being so low on my own personal hardman scale is his inconsistency, people bring up his fights with Jack, knocking out DS Cameron Bryant, beating Adam White the first time, without remembering he had trouble with Ian Beale, got floored by a teenage Jay Brown wearing a boxing glove (which would honestly make the impact LESS hard then his bare fist in that scenario) with a punch to the body, floored by Bradley Branning, also a punch to the body, and sent flying by Kush. The problem with fighting Keanu is that he can take a punch and dish one out, and Max can't... really take one and fight back. He gets floored and punched by people he shouldn't and he backs down from fights all the time. Plus even if he only had his fights with Jack, losing easily to Jack isn't enough for me to put him above Keanu.
