Everyone is taking sides, but the truth is ALL parities involved are to blame. Although it doesn't condone Mick's actions, Linda shouldn't have left her home, her husband, her children and her business for 8 months. Regardless of her reasons, that's simply too long and I don't know any woman that would voluntarily be away from home for that long. Plus, she's been keeping her own secrets from Mick and ignored his pleas for her to come home for months. There's no getting away from the fact that to an extent she caused this. Mick as a grown man should've been stronger and found other ways to deal with his struggles besides turning to Whitney for comfort and support. He has other family that he could've leaned on, but he always went to Whitney instead. Whitney should've had the decency to move out and build her own life separate from the Carters the second she felt something developing with Mick. She's not naive, she could feel things changing between them but she allowed it happen to just like Mick did. And by the time she decided to leave it was already too late. Although all cheating is morally wrong, I really don't see Mick and Whitney's affair as a seedy one. It's one that happened accidentally and gradually over time due to mutual respect and support. Mick helped her through Lee leaving and Whitney helped Mick through Linda leaving. It's no surprise they developed feelings for each other. At the same time Linda's anger is completely justified and understandable. All she's ever done is show Whitney kindness and forgiveness, but tbh Linda should've had the sense to know that Mick and Whitney couldn't be trusted to spend so much alone time together. She knew a long time ago that there was the potential for something to happen between them, which is why she warned Whitney off, yet she was still stupid enough to go away for 8 months and leave Whitney in her place? Unfortunately, this is one of those situations that happens all too often in real life and it happens because of a breakdown in communication between couples. If Mick and Linda had been open and honest with each other none of this would've happened.

People may have hate on Linda but at the end of the day she was looking out for her mum. I know she has secrets that she's keeping from mick but that doesn't mean she's cheating with woody🙄 (you have no proof about that so just stop). Also Whitney did tell Linda to go back when she came back for her birthday so she can't shout at Linda. Whitney did lead Mick on twice before and Linda did warn her but no she carried on. And you can't blame Lee because he only slept with abbie because he got drunk after Whitney kissed Mick so technically Whitney did break him. Lee was also in the wrong as well for hitting her but Whitney was putting pressure on Lee about moving out which made Lee do all the bad stuff so I'm not surprised Lee left. It's also Mick's fault because instead of being a faithful husband he kissed Whitney AGAIN and he can't say 'it was one kiss L' because there was two before and he told Linda that he fell in love with someone else (aka Whitney) so before you start saying Linda is in the wrong think about what you would of done in her shoes. Yes Whitney had a bad past but who hasn't. Linda was raped and being called a liar so how do you think she felt😡 tbh they're all in the wrong but Whitney and Mick are mostly.
