Mick always knew it was an accident, he was just looking for someone to blame. When one of your children is hurt, your protective mode kicks in and do things in the heat of the moment. Which is what mick did here, he just wanted to blame someone and Nancy was the one. He knew Nancy never meant to hurt her brother.

Nancy and Lee were arguing, Nancy shoved Lee who tripped and banged into ollie’s chair, Ollie fell out and possibly banged his head, which is why he had a seizure and possible brain damage.
