Exactly! Peggy was no match for the true Cockney Diva. Ratings would have skyrocketed if Angie had got the pub away from the Mitchells and sent Peggy packing in humiliation.

Sharon proved in this episode that she was very much Den and Angie's daughter. She walked into The Queen Vic and stood up to all the Mitchells. Just a crying shame Sharon sold her share of The Vic to Peggy in 1995. Had Angie Watts returned with Sharon around this time she would have given Peggy the beating of her life for slapping Sharon and furthermore Angie would have helped Sharon wrestle The Vic back from the Mitchells. Its a shame EastEnders wanted Anita Dobson to return as Angie so many time just she was too stubborn to return and it pisses me off because a rivalry between Angie Watts and Peggy Mitchell would have been epic.

Letitia Dean apparently when she decided to leave the show the producers said something along the lines of off you go then good luck, so she left but had the producers tried to persuade her to stay on it looks like she might have done so!

If only Lou would have been around to see how quickly Kathy turned her back on the Beales/Fowlers and especially on Angie (because Angie told Kathy and Pauline to look after her), she would had it out with her. I’m surprised they didn’t bring Dot Cotton or even Pauline in Lou’s absence to help Sharon make her point that once Kathy became a Mitchell, she couldn’t give a toss about anything else.
