After Kathy grabs Wilmott in the cafe, he realises that the Weyland's safe has been broken into, he then attempts to escape the police before having a heart attack.

James Willmott Brown being caught seemed a bit rushed to me. Thankfully the storyline didn't go on for the rumoured three years, but we could've seen a bit more of him, due to his potential of being a top villain. I guess the theory of Aidan working with James Willmott Brown in some sort of way is out of the window now.

I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened to Luke! I just want to know now whether he's dead or alive😂 interesting episode I feel wilmott browns downfall has been quick considering the length of the revenge storyline which is a disappointment however it is realistic as not every villain in reality gets murdered a lot especially older villains usually die of natural causes. Looking forward to the robbery now and how it goes wrong and who is to blame for it

Jack Moore To be completely honest, I think Luke is dead now, Fi has left, Josh will probably leave with Lauren, and Willmott-Brown will also leave soon as he is going to die, so there'd be no reason to bring Luke back, which is a shame as he could have been a bigger villian in 2018 alongside Willmott if he wasn't dying. I'm looking forward to the heist but from what I've heard it seems next year will just be the Slater show, with Kat, Big Mo etc. Coming back which I'm not pleased with tbh never liked them that much.

SilentKiller55 nah I don't thinks so there is also Mel coming back. Idk much about her comeback but the actress who plays her says that Mel is going to be a lot darker than before and that she has a mission that she has to complete. I reckon it's got something to do with phil I think she will want revenge for what he has done in the past. I reckon as long as John Yorke is executive producer eastenders is gonna be grippy and on edge. I agree I don't really like the slaters but I think they'll bring that comedy back as eastenders in recent years has been dark and just had loads of deaths so we need a bit of comedy back. It'll also be good to see Max's redemption storyline now that his daughters are gone and Stacey and jack are now his only friends left so he'll need to build relationships. I wonder if Mel will have anything to do with bens exit now that she is a lot darker as the actress has suggested
