Grant bribed a witness and got him off, but tbh it doesn’t really make any sense. He was arrested at the scene with a gun in his hand. Plenty of cops saw him there.

He and Den Watts took part in robbing a factory but Den set him up to take the fall. Phil escaped from prison and went on the run but ran out of money and returned to Walford to get some.

It was autumn 2003. He took some time off and he returned in late 2005 with Grant where he was clean shaven and put on so much weight.
