I almost died from an SPA infection illness in 2023 when I couldn’t eat anything for 5 days straight because I was throwing up for 80 hours. Good thing Woody.EXE came to my house just before I collapsed in front of him and he heroically carried me to hospital. I was connected to TPN for 3 weeks to get my weight back after the prefesionals drained 3 litres of fluids out of me, the way Woody.EXE held my hand during my recovery and I overheard him telling my mother Mummy, Princess of Wales that he fears his Queen might die and they hugged each other for hours. I was discharged from hospital 4 weeks later looking healthier than January 28th. I’m a healthy almost 22 year old now and the illness was a one off, hasn’t happened since. I love how Woody.EXE treats me like he’s my favourite Queen and he’s not wrong because I’ve survived this hell

This has been a very delicate storyline and I feel Eastenders have done an amazing job on it. From the writers to the actor's it's been handled brilliantly. But I don't want Lola to die😢

Thing is part of you feels relief when someone you know dies from terminal cancer as they are at peace and no longer suffering.
@Luke_-_ Жыл бұрын
@@charitynyaundi6808 actually she wanted to leave but the producers felt it’s time for Lola to exit but with a tragic yet overwhelming story of heartbreak doom and gloom, although the way she’s been written is perfect. Yeah I’ll be gutted when the character is killed off and she’s no longer on our screens we can then look back at her character from the very beginning up until now, the whole Lola story since 2011 has been tremendous and how the actress has handled the whole storyline is surreal. Even at your darkest hour you can always be happy and live your life to fullest even if it is short but what counts is the memories and the legacy you’ll be leaving behind but always remember you’ve inspired a nation where your memory will live on

My father had lung cancer for about 2/nearly 3 years and passed away in June of last year. The amount of pain I felt considering I was only 17 when he passed was dramatic and it really took a toll on my mental health and my exams as well. Very sorry for your loss, I also lost my dad on the 5th December 2021. His funeral was the 21st December, I always loved Christmas now I dead each year. I spent 2 years in bed and finally decided to get help from bereavement counselling and medication. I'm now doing much better I almost lost my husband as he couldn't cope with me any longer he has been as supportive as he possibly could but he was at his wits end. I'm finally getting up out of bed and even got a part time job and getting out the house. There is light at the end of a very dark tunnel, I'm living proof, there is no textbook to grief or rules each individual has there own journey and will get through it their own way in their own time sending love to you ❤

He like Lola had collapsed but outside a private hospital when he got taken into a and e and then they gave him the bad news after a scan. Many years ago when I was in my twenties I had wanted a cooks job that they had given to the chap that sadly died young and I had been angry over it but I swear on a stack of bibles in no way did I wish cancer on him!

And the way they quickly wrote out her birth mother was so weird too. I still think they’ve made a big mistake in killing her off for this.
@user-zw2hn9eu1l Жыл бұрын
I agree, don’t get me wrong, I think an ED storyline in men would be important and does need awareness, but there was other male characters they could’ve done the bulimia storyline like Freddie, or Bobby. Or maybe even someone like Ravi or vinny, Ben is turning to bulimia to cope with everything he’s dealing with. That would’ve worked for a character like Ravi or vinny as well. They’ve kind of made lolas exist about Ben when it should be about her, Jay, Billy and most importantly lexi.
@forzacmo9069 Жыл бұрын
@@user-zw2hn9eu1l In the latest episode Stacey made some remarks on Martin's bad eating habits which made me wish he was given the bulimia storyline not Ben considering the fact that James Bye has never got any chance to showcase his skills as an actor as Martin has always been treated as a supporting or secondary character.
@user-zw2hn9eu1l Жыл бұрын
@@forzacmo9069 I didn’t think of Martin but yeah he would’ve been a good character as well because Martin is the last person people would think had an ED. And it would be nice for him to get his own storyline, he’s a great actor but he’s only ever been able to showcase his acting as a side character, usually in Stacey’s mental health storylines. I guess we’ll just have to see how it goes with Ben then. It’s obvious that Ben is tHe writers favourite character, but it would’ve been nice to let lolas exist be her storyline and not his

The headband is to cover her scar from when she had part of the tumour removed. She also started to lose her hair when she was having chemo but they stopped because it wasn’t working, everything else is realistic, the dizzy spells, exhaustion the mouth ulcers, occasional memory loss. Cancer effects people in different ways as does cancer treatment as well
