By far the greatest Character was so complex and the fact he was only on the show for 3 years and made such a huge impact showed how popular he was I read the original plan was for Dennis to take over from Phil as the face of Eastenders and be a long running character the only reason they killed Dennis off was because Nigel Harman who played him wanted to leave to concentrate on Theatre work and he told them he wont be back 2003-2005 were the greatest for Eastenders

He could’ve left and came back years later. They didn’t need to kill him off. Best character Eastenders ever had but then they always get rid of their best characters and keep the likes of Kim Fox running round calling herself the fox catcher. Eurgh. Eastenders is rubbish now. Hopefully Nigel makes a return to Eastenders someday, somehow. Wouldn’t be the first time they brought a character back that way. Dennis and Sharon should’ve got the happy ending.

It’s funny that the killer turned out to be Danny Moon. Danny was very skinny in terms of build he doesn’t fit the description of what the stranger who brushed past dennis looks like though we only see from the back. The guy was built quite big and stockey from the looks and Danny was skinny

That’s exactly what I was thinking when Sonia said Uncle Dennis 😂. The only thing I can think of is Martin Fowler is Vicki Fowler’s uncle, and Vicki is Dennis’ sister. But Martin isn’t related to Dennis and Bex & Vicki are 1st cousins, so I don’t see why she would call her 1st cousins brother her uncle, related or not. I call my parents 1st cousins auntie & uncle because they’re a lot older than me but that’s different because Bex & Vicki are 1st cousins not 2nd so I doubt she’ll call Vicki auntie. Maybe she said uncle because of Sharon but even that doesn’t make any sense

Ummm ... not to be pedantic or anything, but he didn't remotely die 'in Sharon's arms'. Rather, he clearly perished alone and terrified on the freezing concrete, knowing he was dying and entirely without hope of survival, nor of experiencing any type of comforting envelopment involving the biceps, tricips, elbows or forearms of another human being during his last, horrifying moments of psychological anguish, physical agony and suffering on Earth. I suggest that next time, you consider the wording of your videos more carefully, to achieve greater accuracy and not mislead potential viewers. Other than that, it was an okay upload, thanks. 👍🏻

This Dennis in the clip is Dennis sr, Denny jr's dad. He was murdered on New Year's Eve 2005 while Sharon was pregnant with Denny. He never met his son. So sad 😭. Sharon's scream and sobbs while Dennis died in her arms still haunts me all these years later. He was the love of her life and she never really got over him. Thats why she was addicted to pain pills when she returned to Eastenders in 2012, over 6 years after his death and she still talks about him.
