Ingredients:
For the dough:
100 g of sugar,
80 g of butter,
5 egg yolks,
ready-made yeast mixture,
25 ml. oil
350 g. flour
1 tbsp. l. orange peel salt,
vanilla sugar - to taste
150 g dried fruit
80 ml. orange juice or brandy
For the yeast mixture:
160 ml. warm milk
30 g. pressed yeast
50 g. sugar
For the glaze:
1 egg white
150 g. sugar powder
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and cut dried fruits. Pour orange juice or cognac and leave overnight.
2. Put a saucepan with milk on the fire and bring it to a boil. Let the milk cool and pour it into a separate bowl.
3. Add 100 grams of sugar and pressed yeast to the milk. Stir until the sugar dissolves, cover and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes. The yeast should activate and rise well in volume.
4. In a separate bowl, add 5 egg yolks, 100 g of sugar, 80 g of butter, orange peel, vanilla sugar, salt, and ready yeast mass. Mix everything and gradually add flour.
5. When the dough has a viscous consistency, add 25 ml. oil and continue to knead for about 5 minutes.
6. Cover the dough and put it in a warm place for 2 hours. 7. Add dried fruits to the finished mass.
8. We spread the finished dough on 1/3 of the baking dish and leave it for 30 minutes in a warm place.
9. When the dough rises in volume, send it to bake in a preheated oven at 180°. We let the finished paskas cool down and apply the glaze.
Preparation of glaze:
1. Beat 1 egg white, add 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice and 150 grams of powdered sugar until a thick mass is formed
