@TheVirusLab I didn't "find the source code", I disassembled the executable file using a disassembler. You'll get x86 Assembly.

I guess the developers of this rogue made it so it finds the absolute path to the user's desktop, appends "License.txt" to that (2:13), writes the text (2:13) into a file indicated by that generated path (Using either Windows' or the C standard IO functions) and uses CreateProcess() to start notepad.exe (2:13), the parameter to it being the generated path. I might check what it actually does.

That's not quite an Easter Egg, to be honest. An Easter Egg is something that's deeply secret, intentionally added by the developers for the users to find. The last thing they want is for people to find the code. Unless they're perfectly stupid.

I have a question, since it basically is a scam. Once it gives you an option to remove the "viruses" once you have activated it. Does it remove the viruses and leave your PC alone? Or does it keep the viruses there and stay an obvious scam?
