My favorite part of flower arrangements are when the buds open. When I used to do Ikebana we actually plan the arrangements with the opening of the buds in mind. I remember when i first started that class i would watch the instructor and struggle to make my arrangements like hers. You totally made me think of that calling your dad for help. Lol. The instructor would come by and move one stem and the difference would be amazing lol. Those were fun times. I love your flower centerpieces. So beautiful. Happy Easter

I thank you so much for this beautiful video that shows how hard you work to keep your family traditions and keep your family together! How wonderful that your father can add to your life by being the true gentleman that he appears to be as well as a talented decorator. He had such vision to get daffodils that opened at just the right time. The way you orchestrated your brunch was like watching a play come together! I loved the use of your lists ( which I have done for years!) and how you crossed out things when they were done so you could regroup for the next day. It struck me how hard you worked making everything by scratch and trying to please everyone's taste! And running out of blueberries created what looked like a delicious raspberry almond muffin that I am sure you will make ahead. Your lovely mother seemed to enjoy the new muffin too! Beth, very few people are able to pull this off as beautifully as you did and it was a lot of hard work no matter how organized you were. I loved to be able to see the 2nd part of the video and I feel like I was able to share this experience with you in a way. It brought back such loving memories of my own family years ago! You are an amazing LADY that reminds us how gracious and rewarding entertaining for your loved ones can be!

I absolutely enjoy watching you pour your love out onto your family through your food when you entertain them for holidays. You are definitely your father's daughter when it comes to your love language! It's so sweet that you make sure to have a "special" dish for each person in your charming family that fits in with the menu. And I'm beyond happy that you include yourself.😊 I'm going to treat myself to a mini version of the menu, maybe tomorrow! I can't wait to make your egg bake (halved since it's just me, but I have no problem with yummy leftovers). I have a very similar recipe I've made for many years - Green Chile Cheese Puff - that I always served as a side dish. It's scaled down 3/4 (uses 8 eggs and the other ingredients are scaled accordingly) and adds a 4 oz can of diced green Chiles, drained. I can't wait to make your version and I'm a huge fan of sausage and berries! I loved the adorable, bowing cat iron or bronze figure that appeared on your sink at 6:20!

My mom who was a Home Economics teacher suggests boiling the sausages in water first and then browning them. It could be another item to make ahead and re-heat easily! The whole Easter food and decorations looked amazing! 🌻

Soooooo beautiful 😍 ...!! I always love the centre pieces that you come up with. Dad did an amazing job! So many great ideas for Eid next week! Thank you! @Entertaining With Beth Hi Beth, most of these are traditional. The leg of lamb, the biryani, or special occasion dishes, because of how expensive they are. Same with the prawns. I doubt I could put together a fabulous video like yours, but if you'd like, I'll TRY my best to document as I go along. Prep starts on Wednesday. Cooking, I do all the morning of. Desserts and cake I do the day before. Making sticky toffee pudding for dessert and a vanilla, coffee, chocolate layered cake as my centre piece. You have inspired me to try to be as an amazing host as you are. Every year, I add a few things to my collection :) ... This year it was a couple of carafes and some inexpensive matching cutlery. With a household of 7, matching cutlery is. HUGE deal here 🤣🤣 and I am hosting 11 people in total (for lunch), down from my usual 16. Then there'll be the usual pop ins throughout the day. I'll try to document our day for you! Thank You! 😊
