Hey there!
We’re excited to share with you our wonderful Easter Sunday in Lucca, Italy.
It was a day filled with exploration and quality time with loved ones.
We decided to first venture beyond the charming walls of Lucca and discover a little more of the surrounding areas.
Joining us were Michele's parents, Sue and Bob, and, of course, our four-legged family member, Toto.
Our first pit stop was at the delightful café, Pane e Marmelata, where we indulged in delectable pastries and perfect cappuccinos.
Energised and ready for more, we continued our journey towards the scenic Serchio River.
As we walked along the riverbank, the serene atmosphere and picturesque views took our breath away.
The lush greenery and sound of flowing water created a relaxing ambiance, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature.
Toto, our furry companion, seemed to revel in the freedom of the open spaces, wagging her tail in pure joy.
We shared laughter and marvelled at the natural beauty that surrounded us.
Easter Sunday 2023 in Lucca was a wonderful day of exploration, togetherness, and appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.

Was the beginning of the video filmed just outside the walls of Lucca? We have been wondering what that area was like. Great filming,felt like we were there! Thanks so much 😊

Yes the first part was filmed walking away from the wall. Many people visit Lucca and never venture outside the wall so this showed a little of what exists. This was also our first video so we're happy to hear your enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
