That cat was literally just giving you all the body language for scritches on its head/behind ears or under its chin, dont be afraid! Im a huge animal lover and understand cat behaviour well and she completely trusted you when she showed you her tummy, a quick little pet wont result in her scratching you, she may do the pet then claw thing if you scritch for a long interval, try short intervals at a time until you build your trust with her 🐈

You two are a joy to watch. In America we had an egg shortage that happened from many chickens dying and ill from the Bird Flu. So, all the eggs that were for sale, the prices spiked unbelievably high. A tradition in the USA, for most is we hard boil eggs and then decorate them using colored dyes or whatever you like. Then we hide them in egg hunts. Many use the plastic eggs and fill them with treats or money for the kids. So, wherever you are, just enjoy the day. Continue to stay healthy and happy in life. In the US we dye real eggs (that have been hardboiled) usually with some kind of dye mixed with vinegar. You can also paint them, use crayons, markers, put stickers on them...really anything that floats your boat. We then usually make potato salad or deviled eggs with the eggs. It's mostly a thing you do as kids, but I know lots of people that still do it as adults.

This cat loves you. Name it when it visits you. Feed it to n leave some water. It’s wants to pet it. They won’t scratch you. Hard boil the eggs and then color the with your children. Hide them in the garden. Rise for most gathered for gift. Remember where you hide them or they stink up your garden.

Make a paper collar, and write on it if he or she is owned. Maybe leave your number. Cats protection have collars, or make one. That's what you do if you think she or he is a stray. Or buy a collar with elastic from a pet shop and attach a note with sellotape. I've done that a few times and people get back to me if the cat is owned. I have adopted lots of strays.

It’s a tradition in England (maybe UK as a whole) to hard boil the eggs, paint them and roll them down the hill. If it cracks you loose. Kids do it at primary school too so no wonder there’s no eggs 😂

Not all cats scratch! Siamese can be a bit nowty if they’re on their backs & you tickle their tummies though. Or a cat has a sore spot you don’t know about. However keep a towel or soft mat handy to pop on your lap if cat returns & wants to chill out with you outside. It can be v relaxing to sit still with a cat on your lap & do nothing. Make sure he/she doesn’t get shut in the house by mistake though. Beware, I was once definitely not a cat person but then in 1994 in France …! 😻

This vlog was such a joy to watch! Glad you guys had such a good Easter! P.S. that cat’s definitely adopted you, Joe and probably is looking for somewhere to be and for affection. My grandma’s farm cats are like that but my family’s house cats aren’t as much. Also, if you’re worried about the nails being sharp, I always used to take a towel with me outside and put it on my lap so that if they jumped up, they wouldn’t hurt me. Also if you ever end up getting an indoors cat, you can trim their nails. They will sharpen them again but its a much more humane way to protect your skin and furniture than declawing them. But don’t ever cut the nails of a cat that lives even a little bit of its life outside because that’d be taking away its main defense.

18:50 It’s a thing where I live that we do egg rolling we boil real eggs paint them and whoever’s cracks last wins. I’ve done it every year so. there’s also has been a shortage of eggs just due to illnesses of the birds and stuff.

So I think the egg shortage is to do with Bird Flu, there’s a lot of it in U.K. and that includes garden birds etc. the price of eggs (when you can find them) have doubled too 😟. And yes painting real,eggs is an Easter thing to do 😀

I'm late to this but that cat is gorgeous! She looks very sweet and healthy and seems to be very comfortable with human attention she probably has a home. She's probably just hunting and sh*tting in your lovely garden full of animals 😂😂 don't worry cats tend to bury their poop in soil not just go randomly on the grass like a dog......most of the time. You just get extra fertiliser 😂

yeah cats are questionable when they just appear. i had one come to our yard so we just started feeding treats to them. just what i learned the hard way is when they roll on their back dont rub the tummy because they nip and claw your hand as a warning

In regards to the lack of eggs. Last year Bird Flu was around all year long instead of just the winter so egg supplies are struggling to keep up with demand there's hardly a day at my store where we don't sell out of them

Cute cat, I'd be worried sick its been dumped or is a stray, but I'm a bit of a soft touch with animals! Loved this vlog and also loved your last work related one. In Romania (eastern europe) for us Easter is a very religious holiday and is a tradition for us to boil the eggs and paint them. Especially in red. So yes, there is such thing as painting real eggs 😅
