At first I thought this was a Slo-mo video and then I realized, no we are watching two VW Vans climb in the mountains!

Our weekend in Alabama Hills, last month, was too windy. My EV Weekender’s pop top acted like a sail. Every wind gust rocked the van back and forth. But it’s all good. Nothing broke.

Yikes! It can get really windy over there, but those pop tops are surprisingly durable!

Nice I’m gonna try this trips on my eurovan camper. I’m waiting for the fox shocks to be in stock so I can put all the suspension wheels on first person. How can you best find dirt roads? Are these listed on Google maps?

Definitely! It was about 750 miles over a three day weekend. There is so much to see, a week or more would have been great!
@garyp.75013 жыл бұрын
Yeah I did just part of this and took a week. You get to see more stuff along the way if you are not in a hurry. Definitely a trip to do in the fall or spring and not the heat of the summer.

I did some of that,Mono lake,Topaz lake,Tahoe...only complain:dark at 5pm(november) any problem with torque?
@GoWestyCamperProducts3 жыл бұрын
GoWesty 2300 engine + GoWesty EFI had no issues with torque.

Driving my '82 aircooled up to Mono lake from Bishop was a slow plod. (2.0cu) Thank god for the extra oil cooler. We got there but you get passed by these folks with much bigger engines flying up the hill.
