​@Maisiewuppp our country is not attacked BECAUSE our enemies know there is a gun behind each blade of grass. Weapons in the hands of law abiding citizens help protect and preserve the peace. If you take the weapons from the people, as was done by the Nazi's and even today, North Korean's, you will live under an oppressive dictatorship and have no voice. A gun never killed anyone by itself, there was always someone who wrongfully or rightfully pulled the trigger. If you say prayers, thank our police officers, our US military servicemen and women, and our law-abiding citizens for your safety today. Oftentimes just the presence of a lawfully carried weapon by a law abiding citizen is enough to prevent a crime from occurring or someone from becoming tragically injured. I hope this family does well and would like to see updates.

This one brought back a flood of memories from my youth. Visiting family and friends in many European counties and how generous the people there are. You never visit without being offered tea and pastries. I loved this family. I hope this new adopted country and especially Idaho, brings them happiness and peace. I think they will thrive here. I am writing this comment from Canada. We have neighbors who came from the Ukraine years ago and they have taken in a refugee family. They now live in a basement with their 2 boys and themselves. I am so happy secret Santa could help this beautiful family.
