I was smiling early on as Peggy was picking up extra bits for the husband's trolley in the first two minutes, then ended up fully laughing as they broke all the rules by extending the time, then giving up with a timer, all while Nate was loading armfuls of extras into the trolleys for them! 😂 It says a lot about them as a couple, though, doesn't it? That they had all that extra time and help, and still spent less than half of the allocated amount. Clearly not greedy people, making this even more deserved 💕

My mom was a wonderful cook. If, someone passed away or someone was sick. Mom would make sure the family was fed. My mom passed away almost 35 years ago. Me and my roommate have kept that tradition going. During Covid, people weren't getting together with family. We made Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for a couple dozen family and friends. So many people weren't doing great during that time. My sister was the delivery elf.

How was not grabbing a lot of each item being "considerate of others?" Would others have to do without if they took a lot? The store would just refill the shelves. They spent too much time running from place to place instead of finding a spot and loading up on they could store and easily add to cart (spices, tuna fish, peanut butter, chicken breasts, canned stew, etc). Two people running around for 3 minutes and only getting $1,478 isn't very good. They had the total bumped up, so it worked out ok. If they didn't do so poorly I doubt the station would have bumped up the total.

There is also no reason to grab hundreds of dollars of meats and frozen items that you will have nowhere to put them when you get home. Take what you need, not what you want. It says a lot about someone’s character when they display this as a normal behavior.

Who said she had to only grab meats and frozen goods... or any at all? How about pet food, razor blades, tuna fish, spices, corned beef, cans of ham, and more. No freezing necessary. Sometime realism should enter the picture. They could be "nice" and next week wonder why their kids are hungry again.

I live just north of Sydney & at my local stores, I’ve seen them “hover” anywhere between $3.50 - $5 a pack, but I don’t care about that. I’ve loved them since my childhood & when it comes to a good chocolate “fix”, you can’t go wrong with the Tim Tams, regardless of the price ❤️🍫🫶❤️
