A different bridge would be very cool. Not necessarily a mustauche but something just a little larger and a little different. That looks to me like the same bridge on all of their guitars. And engrave that pick guard!

These sound great and are really beautiful as well! I've never played a Jumbo. I'm curious in terms of how comfortable they are to play. I find dreads irritate my shoulders, so I typically prefer Grand Auditoriums or smaller. Is the jumbo more stressful or about the same in terms of shoulder angle as a dread?

Great picking at the end 🤩 Guitars sound great but I have had several bad experiences with Eastman flat tops with necks lifting very soon after purchase. This required extreme reduction in saddle height which robbed them of tone and volume. Plus they are quite heavy built, which doesn’t help.

Reducing saddle height is never a proper solution to a neck lifting since, as you pointed out, it robs tone and volume. It is a cheap unsatisfactory half measure. The only proper solution is a neck reset.

Maybe it’s the lighting, but the sunburst doesn’t seem to have any of the orange/amber hues to it. Sounds stellar nonetheless.

The Guild F-55 maple wins every jumbo comparison I have ever seen or heard. It kicks a J-200's posterior.

@@AcousticShoppe You are absolutely correct about the current inlays being beautiful. I just like the artistry and dynamic symmetry of the maple leaf inlays and how they symbolize the solid maple back and sides. If I wind up buying an AC622CE just for the way it looks, it won't be the first time. The reason I pulled my first Eastman (E40OM sunburst) off the wall that one fateful day was to find out if a guitar that looked so pretty would sound any good. It sounds just like it looks. Up until that moment I'd had a real mindset against Eastman guitars. Now I'm an instant convert and what they say is true, converts make the biggest fanatics.

@@michaelbalance98 My point is that they sound WAY different from eachother in this video. Do they sound the same to you? Try with headphones. Guitars all sound slightly different which is why many players will play ten Gibson J-45's to get a "good" one. These two sound like different models to me. Natural finish guitar is much brighter and thinner. The sunburst sounds deep and full like rosewood.

@@greghall7640 they sound roughly the same to me. The sunburst has slightly less brightness than the blonde. I lean more towards the blonde to get that snappiness.

Everyone knows sunburst always sounds better... But seriously, the natural finish would only have sealer and then clear coat whereas the sunburst has three, or more, extra coatings, one of darker yellowish pigment and then two layers of airbrush, one reddish and the other black, plus enough clear coat to smooth all that out. Who knows, maybe that accounts for a deeper tone. Another thing about sunburst, it really makes the abalone inlays stand out.
