I am dumping a Taylor to get this beauty. Great tone, high end materials, very cool looker.

ME TOO!!! 520e solid hog top sides back. paid like 2500 used at Lakeside GC. I hate it. Can't wait to get rid of it and buy one of these. I have an Eastman E20d too. Awesome guitar.

I've played an Eastman dreadnought with an Adirondack spruce top for several years. I love it. It has a beautiful, balanced sound, and it may be the loudest acoustic guitar I've ever played. As Quinton said, only a light touch is required to get a big, rich sound. And if you play it hard, it is loud!

Deeper body 🎉5 inches I believe. I had a few of them ❤ great guitars 🎸

Hi All, first of all thank you for all your great reviews, it's a real pleasure to watch them. Today I went guitar shopping, after months of research I just decided to try as many guitars as possible. I tried around 20 guitars, Martin, Gibson, Taylor, Atkin, Eastman. I ended up with this E10ss/v. I really stood out of the rest, I really liked the Atkin J43 too, but it was 2500 Euro more expensive. My budget was around 4000 euro, but ended up paying 1800 for the Eastman. I must say the youtube video does not capture the great character and low end of the guitar.

I have to say, I purchased this cool guitar. It is so nice. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I love this big neck. I have had hand surgery, and this guitar plays very easily, and I am not having as much pain while playing. I had never been a fan of Mahogany guitars. This guitar changed my mind on that. It is a great instrument, and I highly recommend it. (Also, Paul was so easy to work with. The entire experience was really been positive). Thanks, Paul!

Do the specs indicate that the neck is built out of several pieces? I have a E20D and the neck is in 3 pieces I think. I still love it, but I think a solid neck makes a differnce.

I got to try this guitar in a store in Milan Italy, and I could compare it to a Gibson, J-45, which was present in the same store, but I have to say that the Gibson had an extra gear. On this Eastaman E-10SS I found some flaws that I didn't like. The sound was good, but the setting did not go well, and then the neck was very uncomfortable.
@will21814 жыл бұрын
ClaudioFiammenghi so you prefer the Gibson over the Eastman? I have a Gibson j 35 which is very similar to a Gibson j 45. I am considering getting an Eastman (this particular model to be exact) and selling my j35. I want to try out an Eastman in person before I decide to go through with selling my j 35. How did you find the Gibson to be in comparison to the Eastman? Your thoughts on this subject would be much appreciated

I have one and I love it. Except for one thing, the neck is EXTREMELY THIN!! I have a hard time fretting certain chords because of it. It's really disappointing for me. I bought it to be one of my main gigging guitars, but I don't think that's going to happen.
@bartmason99165 жыл бұрын
if it has a thin neck, wouldn't it be easier to bar?
@keithweyuker31365 жыл бұрын
That is interesting. Mine has a very substantial neck. It is much bigger than the neck on the Taylor I traded to get this Eastman, and is bigger than the neck on all of my other guitars, including my Larrivee L09. It is very comfortable for my aging fingers.

The neck probably was perfect for the hands of the seven year old China kid that made it

Jeffery Clark sad you know nothing about Eastman. Let me guess, you're a Trump supporter? Eastman is owned by Americans. You can fly over there and tour the factory if you would like? Or you can watch the videos of the factory right here on KZbin. Unless you just want to remain a mindless piss ant?

@@becomeaudible1 hey buddy don’t get all swollen up. Eastman guitars are great . I own two ed8 and the E10-SS- V which sounds better tha any guitar I have played.

It’s the same guitar with different finishes, no? Which one looks better to you?
@dillonkitt8563 жыл бұрын
Probably the e10ss/v. The varnish let's the wood breath a little more as opposed to the nitro finish on the e10ss.
@tomformanek3312 Жыл бұрын
@@dillonkitt856 Eastman has switched to a dual-layered True Tone finish that is very thin. I got rid of a nitro finished one a few years ago. Just got a 2022 with the new finish and I love the tone. It was what I hoped for previously.

Foda - se I just sold my low quality J45 and bought an Eastman. Gibson guitar quality control is horrible and they are putting out a lot of low end garbage at record high prices. I’ll never by another Gibson acoustic. I’ll stick to my Martins, Taylors and Eastmans.
