Outer Manipur MP Alfred Kanngam S Arthur took a sharp jibe at the NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly ignoring the ongoing violence in Manipur over the past 15 months.
Arthur's address comes just a day after Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh had a 15-minute meeting with Prime Minister Modi.
The Congress MP also criticized Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for excluding the state from her budget speech, especially when Manipur has faced its third-worst flood after 1988 and 2015.

Still we have no answers despite going to courts Supreme court has reprimanded him many times but still he continues to do what he does best: running parallel government, doing shady stuff Imagine the atrocities committed by other state governors if this is the situation in tamilnadu Governors are doing maximum damage in opposition states particulatly south india and very friendly in north india due to bjp cm ruling those states Yet no development despite friendly bjp governors But fortunately south ibdia has managed to develop despite rn ravi and other governors hijacking the state administration Only relief is that tamilnadu has assembly elections in 2026, so just 2 yrs away He can only stay for another 2 years and then he will leave unless reappointed
