The Unlimited seems to be much more durable than the Advanced. My daughter has nearly 3,000 swings on her with no cracking or spider webbing.

I bought the Marucci Echo and Echo Connect for my daughter based on Fab Junkie reviews. They were waiting for us on my porch when we got home yesterday from a tournament. My daughter swung the echo today and really likes it a lot says she likes it as much or better than her ghost. Which is good news for me 😂🤣 well, not really, I've already told her she's never getting another ghost unless she wants to buy it 🤣😂

@@fabjunkie4229 She only swung her Echo today, it was a belated birthday gift from her grandparents because of some "supply chain shortages" on what they were getting her for her birthday originally. The Echo Connect I bought for her but I am making her earn it on the field 😉 hopefully she will earn it over her next couple games and she can get to work with it.

@@fabjunkie4229 I will say it hat she had never swung a one pice..... Well, im not sure if her Demarini prism "black and rainbow version" is a one piece or not.... Anyway, she liked the Echo alot. She loves how much more balanced it is than her Ghost. Her double barrel ghost is 32/21 and the echo is 32/22 and feels lighter to her. She hit about 500 balls today and loved it.

My daughter gets 5mph more on her ghost advanced compared to echo connect. And the echo one piece is about 8mph less e.v. than her Ghost. Consistently. And never liked Easton bats?? I've been watching the channel long enough to know that isn't true. The Ghost is fragile. Everyone knows. But there's a reason that despite costing a fortune, there's about 8 girls swinging Ghosts on every team.

I was surprised myself. Having a big sweet spot has kind of been a staple of the Ghost line. Dirty south is on the list. I have spoken to them and I'm gonna get one on thier trial program, so I don't have to buy it. Did you think the vid was too long?

Heres what I really want to know Jab Funkie🤨: Emmy did hit 72 mph with that limited. I don't think I've seen her hit that hard. What's her ev these days with the echo or/and hype for comparison? I did go back and look. The hype was, I don't remember already, 65mph maybe. But 5mo ago, and I know the echo review is older. I don't need a video or anything. Did I miss that info? Am I crazy? I know everybody is negative on Ghosts here, but doesn't she hit the ball hardest with that Ghost there that she doesn't like? I do have a little advice. Voice-over maybe when they're just swinging away. You could get a lot of info out that way. I just happen to see that one comment down there. And this one did get a bit long. That, and next time you come to Texas get the brisket.

The exit velo has a lot of determining factors. Where I put the radar definetly matters. The balls definetly matter. Weather, how much they grow, all that. I'm sure you see what I'm getting at. The Hype was done when it was very cool and rainy out, and I had to do it in my garage. When I work in there I have to put the radar behind them and that will read lower by 2-4 mph. Emmys max EV with the Echo is 75. She did that earlier this spring. She regularly gets 70 plus with her Hype as well. They are her gamers. I dont like using her for the vids for a number of reasons, #1because she hits like shit off a tee. 🤦‍♂️. Honestly it doesn't matter what the EV is from one vid to another, because it's just about those1- 2 bats on that day. It wouldn't matter if the number on 1 bat was 4 and the other was 6. It's about the difference between and the girls opinion and what we notice about the bat that we can pass on to prospective buyers. I really want to do a video with all the top bats with 4-5 girls, but it would take so many cuts that it would be impossible to get done in a day. The girls would be dog tired after 2 bats.

@@fabjunkie4229 I'd love to see that video. Bat Digest, I think, used to do something similar. Those videos were great. I've had best results behind the backstop. Hitting right at the radar gun. 75mph is getting up there. Pretty darn elite. Other than my kid, 76mph is the fastest I've seen a girl hit with my own eyes. Even 16u-18u. Not that I've seen it all or anything. I personally would love to see if Emmy's ev goes up or down with a little heavier bat. She's strong enough. I think she'd benefit. But then again think a lot of girls should be swinging a heavier bat. My daughter uses that -8 33" against average to slow pitchers. She will grab her -9 32" if the pitcher is throwing heat or forward the end of a long tournament.

@@shugertits I'd love to make that vid, but there is no way they could swing that many bats the cuts that it would take consistently. After recently learning about the process of compliance testing I am going to do some testing with Emmy and some heavier bats. I want to do a comparison on the affects of bat speed and how it affects EV and this difference between batspeed of a -10 vs -9. Honestly, I don't check emmys EV very often. I am more concerned with her swing mechanics. Also, you are right, highest EV is read from the front with no obstructions.

Marucci works on a 2 year cycle, and normally they don't just do the " Bold New Graphics " upgrade. It's normally a completely new bat. I am excited and I think it will be a great bat, but I have not had my hands on it yet. Hopefully very soon.

I think it says a lot about marucci bats that your daughter prefers the Marucci to other bats considering she gets to test alot of different bats on the market and picks them over the others.

There is truth to that statement. She has access to them all, and she knows that I really don't care what she swings. Right now the Echo and Hype are her gamers. I'm excited to see what the new bat will be.

How does your daughter like the bat fabjunkie? My daughter always used the ghost this summer we switched to the monsta hype from your video she loved it. This bat came out and we got it and now we are back with easton she loves this bat!

Hi... I just watched your video and saw that you were trying to guess the balance point of the bat. There is a cool trick you can do to cut right to the chase. 1) Hold your hands out in front of you approx shoulder width apart (shorter than the actual length of the bat) and extent your "pointer fingers" of each hand (you can also use "knife-hands"). 2) Lay the bat across your fingers (suspected across). 3) Simultaneously... slowly begin moving your hands closer together (you'll get a feel for how quickly you can go). 4) Your two fingers will meet the balancing point. Go head... try it with ANYTHING (yard stick, broom, etc...). You'll end up at the balancing point every time.

Hey there,not sure if you will remember me from last week in Oklahoma at the 12U All American Games. My daughter played for the NJ Team.We were sitting and talking next to Steve Maxwell and you were a seat below him. I was the guy asking if you did youtube videos....🙂 My daughter swings a Ghost Advanced and the Mantra,both,of which we like very much.The Mantra broke in a tournament about a month ago,so,we are looking for something else besides the Advanced,the regular ghost,the Meta and LXT's. I know some time ago,you said your daughter uses a bat that noone here really uses,but,I do not recall the name of the bat. What other bat not mentioned above is your daughter using that she likes a lot and is hot? Thanks......John

Both are Better than all of those IMHO. I just shot a vid with the new Ghost vs the Echo and the Echo killed the Ghost. I'm getting ready to release several vids of the Hype vs all of those bats you named. It was preferred over the Ghost dbl barrel in the first vid I shot.

I dont know if the 250 dollar model is still available. I think they might offer the Torch in a -9 when it comes out, but Im not positive.

Thanks for all the videos you do! Question I have a almost 13 year old player swinging the recent LXT. She likes it but was looking at the Meta. I have always been interested in the Echo 1 piece… are you getting the new DMND to test? Meta I am still not sold she tested a 31 drop 11 and cold as could be. She tried her teammates 33 -10 and -11 and loved it. I assume you would say get the Echo for $220 vs the Meta for $450.

The Echo and Meta are 2 very different bats. The Echo is extremely well balanced, with a long sweet spot. You will get out of that bat what you put in to it. The Meta isn't a bad bat. Definitely more end loaded than the Marucci. I felt like it would be more of a contact hitters bat as it was not particularly good on mishits and seemed to have a small sweet spot. I'm DEFINETLY gonna get the new Marucci when it comes out. Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback
