My daughter has a CF and Ghost; while she's never hit the ball over the fence with the Ghost, she has multiple time with the Demarini. I felt like you did: I thought it was mildly end-loaded...and both felt very similar (weight-wise) when I swung them a bit. My daughter cracked the DeMarini...while the Ghost's paint flaked/cracked, which I thought was the bat, but someone else told me it was just the paint (My daughter still uses that bat along with the replacement CF which seems a bit dead compared to the previous one.) Those are my two cents. I loved and liked the video.

If the paint chips on any bat, it's broken. Maybe it's just a dud. It happened to me once with a Marucci baseball bat. I'd send it back. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching.

@@fabjunkie4229 I don't think the paint coming off indicates a broken CF, about half our team uses the CF from various years and most are missing paint, but the bats are not broken, they still pop. You can certainly tell when they are dead. For the most part they are very durable...

I agree with all that. I guess I should have clarified. We all see bats that get some paint chips over the years, but if there is a BIG chip or chunk of paint missing there is usually a crack there. Most bats get really hot when they crack, because the barrel will flex more. They generally get really hot until they snap. Personally if I find any damage at all to one of my daughters bats it's gone. I couldn't live with myself if I knew it was damaged, let her use it, and a girl got hurt because it snapped and a piece flew into the field of play. Now with that being said, I know several girls that knowingly keep those bats in play because there is a competitive advantage. To each his own I reckon.

In this video the bat was a 32/22. The girls were 13 and A class ballplayers. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.

@@fabjunkie4229 That's a -11 CF not a -10. The -11 were actually kind of rare back in '22 as they released the -8 to -10 first, coming out with the -11 later. But you can tell it's a -11 by the purple on the barrel and bottom of the grip. The -10 had gold/yellow, the -9 had a silver, & -8 had a grey color. DeMarini has different colors for each drop. The 2023 CFs have a different colored knob. The -11 is blue and -10 is white. Or vice versa. End cap is different also I believe.

My daughter loves the cf compared to the ghost. It swings a lot lighter. I recommend it for my players that are smaller or are often under the ball

Definetly not a bad stick. Seems to be pretty durable too. I also like that the are easy to find used for an affordable price.

Really enjoying your videos. Trying to decide between the DeMarini CF and Marucci Echo Connect. Just wanted to see if you've noticed any difference in feedback / sting between these two or any performance / distance difference? Cheers.

They are both good bats and at the same price point. If you want super balanced go Marucci. If you want slight end load go DeMarini. From what I've seen the Marucci is a bit hotter.

I seen 1 marucci bat this weekend and i was wondering if the girls dad seen your videos !! But yea man good stuff. It's hard for people to open thier mind and give another bat a chance and the Ghost has been the top dog for a long time. However, I think a lit of eyes have been opened recently to the fact that there are several bats out there that are just as hot or hotter.

The top 4-5 are closer than people realise, or want to acknowledge. There are a few that most don't know about, or are unwilling to try, that are better than the more well known bats. You are right about what feels best to the girls tho. It doesn't matter how hot it is if she don't like how it feels she doesn't want to swing it.

yea for sure man and ive been reading alot of forums and threads and man i swear easton has had to make double the bats for all the ones that break !! thats all i read in reviews and man i cant believe there are people willing to spend 500$ to go through the hassle of the return and what not crazy! id rather have a banger that can be used and abused then resold later!! keep up the good work tho man!!

oh dude while we are at it did u see the new string king bat they got out!?! they made a fast pitch version its an alloy bat but its super cheap and the baseball bat bros liked it so i imagine the fastpitch bat is just is good and its well under 200$ Ive seen a girl put one out with the cheap louisville proven bat and she continually hits bombs with it!

I dont need to. I KNOW that bat is better. That thing is a unicorn. The white one with the purple 8 on it might be the best -11 ever made. Smoking hot and durable too.

Right now, the Echo DMND, the Whisper, and the Torch are my top picks. I can't speak on the LXT yet cause I have no personal experience with it, but a lot of people seem to like it.

I think they are very similar. The Prism plus might be a little hotter. I think it will come down to the players choice between those 2.

True that!!! Honestly, it seemsike Easton I'd the only company that seems to have a daily issue with bats breaking. They all have failures, but there is a big difference in seeing a broken bat from another manufacturer now and then versus the 7-8per day that we see from the Ghost.

We had a problem with my daughter's CF Zen. It was a GREAT bat ... then it cracked pretty bad. I'd say it lasted 10 months. Bat returns are a YUGE pain, and SUPER-SLOW process with Demarini, IMO. The bat they sent us just doesn't seem to have the same pop. I've heard and read many complain about this process, so I don't think bats cracking are rare events. Two cents offered.

@@JR-mj8mq I don't really see a problem. If they're gonna give a 1yr warranty, not much better timing than 10 or 11 months for one to break. If the majority hold up that long, the ghost should be toast.
