Great review. I like the way you break down the arrows in your reviews, it's very useful information that I typically haven't found on any other channel such as yours. Please keep it up.

Really love your videos and all your experience. Normally buy from my local archery shop, but after watching and learning so much from you and ElkShape, I decided to place my next order through you guys and Dan to say thanks. Really happy I did as you shipped next day! Thanks again and I look forward to more videos

I like these arrows for what it’s worth.. I bought 6 from a dealer near me and I’m running 300 spin with 50 grain brass inserts and 125 grain field tips and I’m slapping arrows at 45 yards…but I’m sure that their better arrows out there. But if you take your time with them their pretty good for the money.. great video

This is the only arrow from Easton that gives me a good FOC with my 30.5" length arrow. 476gr with 50gr brass insert to get a 13.7 FOC. I was hoping to keep arrow weight down but no luck.

How about a video that defines the importance and process of broadhead tuning for draw weights of 70Lb+ and draw lengths of 31.5 or higher? I've been hearing about not wanting to go above 65Lb with a 31.5/32" draw length for tuning broadhead hunting arrows.

@@trevordavies2789 I tried one probably 6 years ago and I had good results but can't say it was any better then a standard loop. You lose A LOT of range due to the peep height reduction and I never really trusted the string angle even with beiter asym nocks.

Would love to see your review on the BE Spartan. They use .204 nocks and the insert system (SS insert and brass screw ins) is pretty easy to get whatever weight you want. I’ve had great luck with them.

Hey MFJJ I'm considering buying a new dozen outdoor arrows and experienced people in my archery club told me that the Easton Sonic fly very good even comparing them to the performance they're getting from their Easton Procomps. Have you had the chance of testing these out in the field and considering the price difference are the procomps that much better ?

IMO, I wouldn't want to buy shafts that are accessories specific like with a certain id. Be a pain in the ass in the long run. If you get " common" id and od shafts it's so much easier to get inserts, nocks, weighted heavy metal inserts and sleeves. But but but, another great review.

For the arrows that have a spline align line, can you verify its accuracy? An earlier video by Elkshape made it seemed it wasnt very accurate. When you set up the arrow at 15% FOC, how long is the arrow in your calculations? Also, Can you review the strings you sell in the store and the pros and cons of them? Hopefully the request arent too demanding, just enjoy learning . Thanks.

What do you think about the factory fletched sonic arrows? They come with 2” bully vanes and have a 3 degree right helical. Trying to decide if it’s a better value than fletching them myself

Can beat Easton's price with GT Velocity XTs at about $15/dozen. Weight per spline is about the same. Some splines being equal with other slightly more favorable to either manufacturer. Easton arrows are made in USA while GT are made in Mexico. About everyone else is made in Asia. So $15 for USA shafts is actually a decent price increase, imo. Plus, I won't notice the weight variance in my target and 3D shooting at my level. I might try Sonics, but it's going to be hard to give up my GTs.

What up MFJJ! I’m a huge fan of all the content you’re putting out there! I have a couple questions for you. So when I was first getting into archery hunting 3 years ago, everyone was on the heavy arrow train and so I hopped on as well. My current bow set up is a Mathews Halon 32, 29.5”-30” draw, 72 pounds. My arrow set up is a Black Eagle Rampage 250 spine cut to 29 5/8”, 50gr brass insert, 25gr Iron Will collar, 125gr point, 3 fletch aae max stealth to the left with a mini max. My total arrow weight right now is 570gr with a lighted nock. FOC is about 14%. I would really like to shave some arrow weight off while still being around that 15% FOC without selling my kidney to afford the Rip TKO. What would you recommend I do to get it down to 500 grains? Could I drop to a 300 spine safely? Thanks for all you do!

Yes they replaced the Hexx with it, but the Hexx is a better arrow different specs. The sonic 6 is closer to the bloodline specs. Hexx wasn't American made. So they replaced it with the sonic. Sonic is American made and isn't has good in specs. That is why it isn't matched. Like the Hexx was a matched arrow.
@teamflanneloutdoors5631 Жыл бұрын
My Hexx 's say Made In USA💡 Bought 3 years ago from South Side Archery. A year later they were made in Mexico I think, then discontinued. I agree looking at specs Sonic resembles the Bloodline, which was a good arrow for the money IMO.

Dumb thing, but thought it might be worth the mention and maybe you don't even know. Your last few videos the audio must be recording in mono. I often watch your videos using headphones while at home and your audio when talking is only on the left, but your music at the start comes through both. A little thing, but it's a bit off. Sometimes I only use the right ear bud and I thought something was way wrong. Took me a min to fugue it out. Like I said, it's only been the last few videos. I know you guys want the best quality.
