Absolutely, I am currently recovering from shoulder surgery because I used improper form and shot through fatigue after not having shot my bow for a while. So even a way to build proper muscle support would be cool. Maybe include elkshape on it.

Out of all the Archery Shop channels, I would have to say this is the best one. I have never felt like you are just trying to push or sell a product for your shop in any of your videos. You bring a lot of knowledge and experience to your reviews and are genuinely trying to help everyone in the community, not just those who support your shop. As for video topics, I think fireside videos about personal adventures/experiences would be a great series (A-la B-Mac style). EX. Recounting bow hunts/event/competitions over the years. The overall experience you had, the gear/bow/arrow setup you used, what you liked/didn't, etc. My uncle has been bow hunting for 30+ years and he told me he wanted to pull out his bow from 20 years ago and start slinging with it again. He's a taxidermist as well and showed me some of the animals he harvested with that bow. He knows he is in for a shock with it compared to his Mathews V3, but he wants to shoot it anyways. Everyone loves a good story, especially hunting stories, so that would be a great series to start and add to every month or couple months.

How about a video where you guys shoot 3 store bought pre-fletched arrows and 3 of your custom built arrows from 20 all the back to 60 and see how they group. It would be interesting to see how much difference it makes. Or do it with a 1 thousandths a 3 thousandths and a 6 thousandths of the same brands and see how much difference there is in grouping. Love the channel keep up the good work!

I've been pretty happy with those shafts. I've only tried with aluminum 50gr HITs or carbon tubes bonded to HITs with small collars, but with that setup they've held up surrounded well even to angled impacts. I have had lighted nocks cause the back end to get hairline cracks, but a nock collar solved that as well. With 250 spine I ditch the nock collars and they've been more than adequate.

Data point on these. I've shot into 3/4" plywood at 20 yards and stopped them in 2x4s without any breaking. The only breaks have been hit by other arrows. Hunted and shot 3d with them for 2 years. Pulling 75 lbs, 31 in draw, 400 gr total arrow weight with their 60 grain SS inserts. Speed is 328 fps out of an older Xpedition. I hear a lot of these might not be durable, but that has not been my experience.
@tsi-rocket4144

Every time I hit something hard with these arrows they break. Between setting up my slider, not resetting my slider to its home position and shooting thru my bag target I've broke 3 rip XV arrows hitting something hard(wood & composite deck board). I broke one Tuesday this week shooting thru my target and hitting a 2x4 @ 50yds this being the third one I've broke. Every time I break one I contemplate switching to rip tko's.... I've hunted whitetail with these arrows with excellent results but given I botch things up and hit a shoulder I feel the rip XV will shatter leaving me with a wounded animal. I know don't hit the shoulder but we all know what can happen in the heat of the moment. I've been running the factory rip XV 21gr aluminum insert and have been researching if changing the insert would help with durability? I used hot melt to install the inserts on the last 6 rip xv arrows I have because I was debating on switching inserts. Big decision to switch arrows this late in the year with whitetail season getting close but I still have plenty of time. I love the rip XV and they work very well for whitetail but I do everything to be ethical with my kills and keep debating on switching to a more durable arrow.

My favorite hunting arrows. I run 300 spine 28” with 140 grain ethics outserts lighted knock with 125 grain point comes out to a tad over 20% foc at just over 500 grains. My youngest blew through a hogs shoulder and the arrow had enough energy to hit a second hog bust a rib and stop in its hart. Neither went over 60 yards came home sharpened the broadhead and killed another hog 2 days later they were all in the 100-125lb range. They are all you need in Texas.

Great review man! I look forward to these. Anything under 400gr. Is going to be screaming! Some guys say a lighter arrow is tougher to tune, the faster you push it. With your knowledge and being the goat with ABT, you probably have no issue getting these things to spine out perfectly. With spring coming, doing a lab radar speed degradation test with super heavy arrows vs these with different vane configurations/helical would be cool to see. With a bare shaft as a control.

I bought a dozen of these from MFJJ after watching his TAC arrow video. The arrows are truly light and, as a result, very fast (fastest fps I’ve ever clocked on my set up). Super light arrows gets hate mail but it is the way to go for Western Rockies hunters (especially since we don't much hunt form a stand). The energy is still plenty to pass thru elk and bear. Do you sacrifice anything? not really .... better speed is almost always better at staying in the vital's zone out here. If you want to see static spine sorting during a build, see what's in my channel.

Great work on your videos! It would be cool to see actual FPS with different poundage bows somehow with each of the arrows you are reviewing, and maybe if you have an inconsistent arrow how much does it differ from the rest of the arrows with flight, accuracy, speed, etc. Maybe thats a rabbit hole and not value added, but could be interesting to see. I know there are arrow speed calculators but I'm not sure how accurate those are. Thanks for putting out the content!

Iv seen your peep tie in video and love it. I would like to see full set ups on how to correct timing. As well as how to Aline your cams and full rest install videos whether it be cable or limb. Both. Anddddd. A full in depth on tuning. After set up. You mention skipping to the end basically shooting a Broadhead and field point. Making sure these are hitting together. And If they are not. What then? You mention nock tuning with bare shafts is stupid. So in that case: do you nock tune at all? Or when you skip to the end and the broadhead is off do you skip straight to moving the rest? Assuming that you’re shooting a properly spined arrow. Answers and how tos pleaseeee

Thank you for the knowledge you deliver. Subscribed. I didn’t think these would be able to hunt with but I trust your judgement and experience. My next set of arrows will for sure be some Victory’s.

Nice would love to try a dozen XV. Would be nice to see the odd durability test on some of these arrows. I know it’s been done but we value your opinion. Have learnt loads from your channel Keep it up!

Thanks for all the great content! Love the information and excited to see what you come out with in the future! Might need to build up some of these arrows - thinking my current setup might be a little too heavy for the long bombs at TAC this year!

Great arrow! Shooting 72lb @ 31" draw, 316fps with the Ventum Pro 33 and 250 spine XV's. Set them up with the titanium collar and they have zipped thru many deer, driven thru ACTUAL shoulder bone and out the other side, one accidentally straight through a deers head. They have proven to be more indestructible than the Gold Tip Hunter Pro that broke on every deer it seemed. Keep up the content, love it!

Love the shafts and have an idea for content: Cut 3 at 27, 3 at 28, 3 at 29, and 3 at 30. Then check velocity of each batch at their respective draw length at ascending draw weights using exactly the same bow. From say 55,60,65,70,and 75lbs for each arrow set. Would take a significant amount of time to film and produce, but seems like a good talking point. Which poses the question is 27 inch draw @75lbs, the same speed at a 31 inch draw at 55lbs?

It would be awesome to see you do a full end-to-end bow build for yourself talking through the whole process. Starting with selecting a bow and what you use to make that decision, then build, then shoot and tune.

Been shooting Victory arrows for a while now, great arrow! Just started trying these RIP XV's this year and I'm happy with my build. They are on the more fragile side but worth the sacrifice for the speed and high foc in my opinion.
