Still love this song to this day. I remember hearing this on my Granddad's farm when he played country on his radio...the imagery makes me miss him so much and think about visiting him and Grandma everyday. It was so nice living 5 minutes away from them. I miss those days. Thanks Easton for taking me back.

I'm in total agreement with everyone who says that Easton Corbin sounds just like George Strait. Their voices are identical! I've had a crush on George Strait since I was a young, 14 year old girl back in 1982. I'm 52 now. Easton Corbin is every bit as talented and every bit as handsome as George Strait. I love to hear him sing, and I love his cute smile. We need more country songs on the radio like this one, not this crap that Nashville is trying to pass off as country music these days. What the heck happened to this music genre?

For people saying that Easton's music has changed to not sounding "country" anymore have no idea what they are talking about. For some of you that don't understand how the business works, being in country music or any type of music is not easy. Country music especially is difficult to be in because so called "country labels" push more for the pop/rock country genre. They push for that, because it sells more. These labels want to be able to make money off of you, because if they don't make money off of you, you no longer have a job with them. Easton is trying to do his best to keep traditional country within his sound, but trying to keep a little modern twist to it. That's why he's doesn't get quite as much recognition like Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, or Sam Hunt because he does his best not to buy into what sells the most. Easton Corbin has been and will always be a traditional country music artist.

I don't know how popular this song overall has been with country folk now that time has passed and the song can be looked at in retrospect, as I'm more of a city boy who likes good, real country music, but I think this song really holds it's own with some of the very best country songs ever made. I know some folks would lump this song with the whole "New Country" sound, which really is mostly just poorly written, 70's-sounding pop songs sung by today's country folk, but I think it's a whole lot better than that. It's composed well, has great lyrics./vocals/ instrumentals, production is great , and it really paints a picture you can see in your mind. In addition, it has that wholesome, clean feeling that a lot of songs miss these days. So much raunch in music, movies, etc... that great songs like this without at least some kind of a hint lewdness is rare. He did not have to go there and stoop low to "goose a song' because of the high quality of his work on this song.

If you think country is where you live, homemade wine and shine, dirt roads, hunting and camos, nanner pudding, sweet tea, and fishing, Shit I'm a little more country than that.
