Eastpak x Telfar Medium Shopper REVIEW // Is This Unique Bag/Backpack Hybrid Right For You?

I got the yellow one and I squeeze two 13" MacBook Pros into the main section - they don't go into the laptop compartment at all. And I cut off the backpack straps (sorry Telfar!). But I do love it for going to work or around the city, and have definitely gotten complements on it (I'm in the USA). One recommendation for the little threads on your black bag - if you gently run a lighter near them, they'll melt and stop any potential frays.

would it be an absolute stretch to try to fit a 16" macbook pro in the main section?

I can confirm it does not fit through the zipper in a nice way at all. I thought I would break the zip

@@jazzykayonbroadway one fits just fine, but still not in the laptop compartment. It's secure enough in the main part of the bag that I don't worry about it.

I live in the UK and Telfar is definitely getting more well known. This bag is so unique in the UK not many have it. Makes a change from seeing LV never fills everywhere

I almost bought one of these today because THEY are actually in stock on the Telfar site and I’ve been wanting a bag so much. The backpack straps are a deal breaker for me though, in that they’re not removable. :( Thanks for this very helpful video!

Hey! :) If you mean crossbody it does have a crossbody strap included in the price! And if you mean luggage strap that wraps around it, I would say it’s not necessary. It’s actually the perfect personal item for under the seat in front of you :)

this review has been super helpful! thank you. I'm about to pull the trigger on the olive. I work from home and tend to want something more versatile when I decide to work from a cafe or the random day that I go into the office. Right now I carry a blah backpack (so I can carry my laptop) but the option of the top handle or cross body is perfect. And since it's canvas/nylon I can be less precious about it. 🙌

the size issue is a big fail, its clearly meant to be a work/school/practical bag but barely fits the most common size laptop? the L size bag looks ridiculous and too big. annoying

It looks like from the comments below that they are not removable. I am not sure about that set up for me. I have the small UGG x Telfar and I am debating switching it for one that closes at the top like this.

No they’re not removable and i do have to say sometimes i feel like i dropped something because i feel the backpack strap hit my leg but honestly part of the fun for me is that i’m carrying a backpack like a shoulder bag! And i’m so jealous of your UGG bag 😩😩 i’m allergic to animal fiber :( but i will say having the zip closure at the top is a really great way to feel secure

@@hellsborough Thank you for all the feedback! This is quite helpful. I like the uniqueness of the backpack style though it may not fit my dressier style. After spending the weekend traveling and seeing TMI with other people's tote bags I reconfirm wanting that zipper detail though!

I actually use it as a gym bag but not for sneakers lol The sneakers would fit but i think would make it a little bulgey. the bag is a lot smaller than it looks tbh

yeah it definitely is from use, but that does mean that will happen to the bag as you use it

If you only use a chromebook or ipad or smaller computer then for sure it would be amazing! I’d use it daily but my work computer is too big
