@@OmowiHY The only things I've seen as negative marks on this game are the fact that it's broken up in chunks with weird pacing. The dialogue sections are THICK. Like you'll get HUGE chunks of the game where the characters just talk. Then smallish chunks of gameplay. This made the game feel more like a visual novel for some. That said I think it's perfect. It fuses a classic JRPG tale, and story-telling into a fun little Zelda-Like. It's pretty bonkers how good it is in that regard. I think anyone who says it's a dissapointment just expected something filled with more gameplay interaction. It doesn't have a lot of that. Gameplay interaction is basically limited to: - Smallish chunks of "dungeon" type areas. These are filled with somewhat easy puzzles, and increasingly difficult monsters at times. Your tools are pretty limited though. These areas play like a Zelda game. You won't really be backtracking much, as the experience of these "dungeons" is pretty linear. - Treasure hunting for hidden chests all over the gameworld. - Collecting the Pixball "figures" which is sort of addicting, and helps you with the next gameplay aspect. - A built in mini-Dragon Quest-Like game that is pretty much a fully fleshed out classic JRPG inside the game. It has rogue-like elements and collecting the Pixball figures helps you by giving you items to use in game. - Mini-games that happen occasionally such as little part-time jobs, or baseball, river-rafting. - Cooking mini-game, which is pretty simple but fun, and you'll need to get creative to figure out recipes, with some sidequests requiring you to cook some dishes. All of that gameplay is pretty spread out, and basic in concept. You're not going to be doing "dungeons" a WHOLE lot, and the JRPG Earth Born is basically a completely separate part of the game, despite being sort of linked. The game is undeniably AMAZING, it's far from a disappointment. I think if somebody found it disappointing they probably just dislike the slow slice-of-life pace of the game. It's quite good though. I am definitely love this game. I like it a lot more than Deltarune, which more people are interested in at the moment. It feels like a Triple-A title made in the 90's time blasted into the future. I think most people will generally love it if they like that older form of JRPG story-telling.

Congrats on the 200K Finally, a review that wasn't absolutely heartbreaking. I knew I wanted this game. But the recent reviews of games I wanted and had high hopes for left me a little hesitant. I already have the digial pre ordered, but I still intend to get a physical copy; however, I am sure with the game looking to be a very loved game by players and critics alike, the game will get a physical release in the West by some publisher at some point (whether it be brought to retail or just released by a "limited" company such as LRG). Also, by then I would hope all future patches will have been finished as well.

Okay, so this channel has never really enticed me to purchase a game until now. The only problem is, is that it's only coming to Switch. I have been burned way too many times buying a Switch "exclusive" like this, for it to come out later on the Xbox, where I would much rather play it. (I'M LOOKING AT YOU HADES). So y'all did a great job of selling the game to me, but this the first time I've been conflicted, cause I want it on my platform of choice, and not have to be swindled into buying it again there if I pick this up on Switch. Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was one of the most disappointing games in a while. Slow paced. Tons of cheesy, bland dialogue you can't skip. Combat is far too simple and easy. I'm happy other people enjoyed it, but also baffled by how 😂

damn, i didnt like this game at all, was waiting for it since it was announced back in 2019 or something. it is beautiful but that's it. the combat is repetitive, the puzzles are boring, and the storytelling is not the worst but so much of it is just walking around doing pointless quests.. had the feeling it would be somehow like earthbound but it isnt anyway, if you played it and like it i guess thats it, good for you :)
