The thing is, we're they going through a divorce at the time, cause if they weren't, then I found so messed up that the family decided to but Arthur's stocking up, and I guess the wife took down her husband's stocking? The only way I can justify the taking down her husband's stocking is if they were going through a divorce, even if they were, it doesn't excuse the fact that the wife may or may not have cheated on him. Kind of feel bad for the husband though, because no one seems to be helping him out of his alcohol addiction, the wife's just making it worse by encouraging to keep going, cause that's all he's good for. But idk if he even tried getting himself help or if he had enough to pay for it.

I think they did have a divorce and it makes sense since in the bar scene Thomas (the husband) has suspicions of his friend Arthur for getting too close to her after he asked for him to watch over his remaining family. But in the Christmas special I think he wanted to get back with the family and bring Isabella a present
