I had the same problem here in Canada with one headlight I had replaced with a salvage yard yellowed headlight. I sprayed a rattle can clear I had on hand, after spraying I had the same result as you (didn't know about the heat gun trick!). Looked at the can and noticed it said nothing about being "plastic" friendly as the other clears I have used on headlights in the past. I guessed that was the issue and ended up re-sanding and spraying with plastic friendly clear.

I think the humidity caused it. It's so hot and sticky here, so I used a heat gun to get rid of it.

I agree, humidity is likely the culpret. Interesting vehicle, I've never seen one.

It's a Japanese mini van made by Daihatsu. It is a glorified golf cart 😆

@@justahandchannel I remember we didn't think much of VW buses at one time but today they're sought after and bring a high price. Might not ever happen with the Japanese minivans but something about them interests me, lol. ;)

They seem to be becoming a trend in north america. Here they are plentiful. I went from driving an escalade to this, so it's quite an adjustment 😆
