Thanks a lot indeed for your tutorials on darktable. I particulary appreciate the fact that you are not "losing time" without too much explications (or rambling, to be more blunt...). Your videos are extremely useful. Please, keep them coming 🙂

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I wasn't sure the condensed style would be appreciated so it's very helpful to hear this kind of feedback. I do indeed have quite a few more tutorials planned so stay tuned!

Very good indeed. I have some birds shot which has magnified too much. I have to re-edit using your method. Thank you so much.

This is a great tutorial. Only beef I have is it is 5 minutes; the title is misleading :)
@WildEarthPhoto
@WildEarthPhoto Жыл бұрын
Actually, the one minute refers to how long it takes to do the denoising, not the length of the video.

this is very helpful, thank you very much, i have a question tho, is there a way to denoise multiple images at once? or maybe saving the denoise settings so it can be applied on multiple images? im very new to darktable and want to learn more! thank you
@WildEarthPhoto
@WildEarthPhoto Жыл бұрын
Once you denoise one image, you can copy any settings from one image to many in Lighttable mode by using "copy" in the history stack module on the right. The only thing is, of course, is that the mask is specific to each image so it won't do much good to copy any module that uses a mask that covers your subject.

@@WildEarthPhoto ahhh okok i see, it's fine tho im in a pinch stm, so i just need to do basic denoising, 1 non local denoise is enough for me, just need to do it on a bunch of photos... thank you for the reply !! i really appreciate it

Q: my contrast equalizer has the 4 points to elevate as starting from the middle of the graph; is this normal?
@WildEarthPhoto
@WildEarthPhoto Жыл бұрын
I think what you are seeing are the four triangles. However the left and right endpoints also can be elevated. Edit: actually, I think I know what you are talking about. There are points on the middle AND at the bottom.
