Still do this for speed. Don't get me wronfg C4D and Blender are amazing tools. I use Blender when I have a bit more time ona project

having problems to copy text across.i am using my own text from on photoshop an when i copy it dont paste on after effects.i even made it transparent an tried to load it from on after effects

The logo/text needs to be a vector, it won’t work copying a rasterized layer. If you’re just trying to do this with text, you can make the text layer directly in AE and add that layer to the ‘Custom layers’ drop down instead. Hope that made sense

That happens to me sometimes, it may be a case of just going back into photoshop and trying to copy again, or even trying to copy from illustrator

Looked it up. Make sure your photoshop project is the same dimensions as the AE (2700x2700) and also 72 dpi. Hope this helps in the future.

Hi Ethan, I tried to export my 3D logo from AE to Photoshop like you did, but I couldn't find the way to render it as a png into the output settings. Seems that the option can't be selected anymore in AE 2022 version. Any clue to help? Thanx for your excellent tuto, just keep it on! Cheers from France

I had to go to Composition > Save frame as > File... to start. Then in render que/output module > PNG sequence. Make sure you are choosing a file destination.

You can select 'PNG Sequence' Just make sure in the output module settings that under 'Channels' RGB + Alpha is selected. That should let you export a transparent image

@@EthanJDesign what window are all the settings you change in? the left side of my After Effects does not have all of those settings like "Scene Setup" all the way down to "Custom Layers" and the "Render Mode". All I see are the 2 layers, 3D Logo nad vector logo I created with no additional settings to add-on. I am new to AE so I know its a me problem lol
