Your very professional video has inspired me to completely rewire my all Victron home ESS and 60Kw of DIY batteries.

Wow that's a decent battery! You will have to post some content if you have time so we can follow the journey. Love to see what you have done. Cheers

Thank you, be sure to check out my MPPT and inverter setup videos. These will show you how I set my charge parameters for the parallel system.

Great video. Did not realise it was so easy to configure them to run in parallel!

Hey, thank you for the positive comment Brian. The Victron app is getting better by the month, it's becoming far more user friendly. We now have light, power, hot water and air conditioning running from the off grid system. We also run an organic baby food company and have 4 500L chest freezers and 2 fridge freezers running. The system doesn't even break a sweat, overnight the battery only depletes around 10%.

Thank you so much for the excellent video. Would you have a wiring diagram ?
@OrganicPower-Australia9 ай бұрын
Hi there, thank you for the motivating comment! Check out this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHrVomR9oZdjjbs - It shows the wiring in a little more detail, also read the description. There is a link for the Victron Wiring Unlimited manual, page 33 has a few different setups with wiring diagrams. As a sparky I just keep it all in my head, It would take me hours to draw up.

It would be great to have links to the equipment you install. Thanks

I bought all the Victron gear from ebay, super easy to find. The rest you will need to source from an electrical wholesaler. I'll add a couple of links.

Hi mate, thanks for a great video.. Those cables you crimped look awesome and you have inspired to change a few things in my upcoming project, also some good tips.. Where did you get the lugs and heat shrink from please, Thanks. P.s what state are you in, can i bring my cables over for you to do them lol.

Hi, I have had a little practice, been a sparky for 27 years☺Thank you for the positive comment, this inspires me to create more content. You can pick up the lugs and heat shrink from your local electrical wholesaler, I got the lugs, 25mm2 cable and shrink from M&M electrical. The 70mm2 cable I got from Haymans electrical. Also a few things are from Sparky Direct online. We are in south east Queensland. It's not to hard to get the cabling right now you have seen how to do it, I bought both sets of crimpers from ebay for $98. I'm sure you will do a top job! just take your time and stay safe.

@@OrganicPower-Australia ahh I did have a thought you'd had some practise 😂 and you're welcome, credit given when due.. I've got the 70mm2 smaller version of those crimper but definitely going to invest in the 16t crimpers. I've seen sparky direct and I think we have a middys here

@@OrganicPower-Australia definitely slow and steady wins the race. Just need a sparky to oversee the 240v side now... Have you done a video connecting the main fuse board?
@OrganicPower-Australia11 ай бұрын
You can see the main board briefly in my earthing and grounding video, also some more great tips. I can't really show too much 240v wiring. Being an electrician I have a duty of care, it would be irresponsible of me if I got someone hurt after following one of my videos.
