yes. her first last role was She's The Man and took a long break from acting after that. then, she was pretty much begged to be in this movie, which she accepted the role, but hated how she looked in it, physically, and officially quit acting again after that, sadly.

I always forget Cam plays James lol! I’m from Bremerton (30 min boat ride from Seattle and 2 hour drive from forks) and Cam is from Tacoma (30 min drive from Bremerton or Seattle) so it’s funny that he stars in twilight based in forks haha. Can’t believe I forgot this

normally it would not be surprising - but the reason she isn't entitled to not believe her bc she doesn't even know her... She lets olive get a half a word in a day then just projects her own ideas onto her - she basically treats her like a human diary. So no wonder she's shocked when she sees who olive sctuslly is she never listens

Definitely an unexpectedly good film. I ADORE Olive's parents, they're very weird and kinda uninvolved in that fun movie-parent way. Florida Hate is richly deserved. It's truly terrible there (I lived there for 30 years). The worst weather, politics and humanity combination that the States can offer. Like a penal colony except there's tons of decent people trapped there, as well.

I’ve been to Florida three times and it’s fucking terrible. If you’ve never heard the term “swamp ass” go visit Florida and you’ll learn what it means so quickly. Spiders EVERYWHERE. Nonstop stickiness from the air. Overpriced everything because of Capitalism. Sand everyfuckingwhere. Natural disasters like crazy. And I was only there for a total of two weeks over like 10 years. I DO NOT understand why anyone moves there willingly. (and no one has to come in the comments trying to argue with me cuz that’d be pointless)
