Agatha doesn’t know who Sharon is because she treats her as Mrs. Hart

I don’t think Agatha is actually not caring about Sharon’s name it’s just that she’s been under Wanda’s spell for so long it’s been engraved into her mind that she is “Ms. Hart”.

Agatha is suspecting Teen may somehow be her son hidden away from her by Mephisto. But I think by the end she will learn that Teen is actually Wanda's son and Agatha will be heartbroken, eventually becoming a mentor/mother-figure to Teen.

That episode was interesting yet intense!!! I really loved how Agatha reminded Jen that her knowledge was her true power in this moment!! Loosing Sharon was a bittersweet moment; despite her lack of knowledge and magic, she still knew how to party with wine and dry humor. Not that I’m opposed to idea of Teen being Nicholas, I’m still convinced that he’s really Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. However if Agatha had to give up Nicholas to obtain the Darkhold, I theoretically believe that he was raised and trained by Mephisto, who could’ve also placed the sigil on Teen. Maybe after discovering his mother’s betrayal, Nicholas created the Salem Seven to hunt her down and make her suffer to get his revenge on her. I can’t wait for the next episode and hopefully for Aubrey to join us down the road!!! 🔯✨🧪😈😨🥺🖤💜

I think that she does think that Teen is her child. That's why she brought him along, doesn't want anyone investigating him, and wouldn't let him drink the poison.

So Rio (Aubrey) is coming somehow right? Also, I think they want us to think he's Agatha's son so bad so that the reveal is grander. **Spoilers?*** Funkopop came out with their characters & his name is Billy apparently which means he could be (Wanda's son?) OR he could be Wiccan!! Also the name for Rio was written down as Death. Which I guess in this universe would make a bit of sense.

I think they tried to make the same joke “The Suicide Squad” did with “who is Milton?” but it didn’t work as well

OMG the sass factor was cranking this episode!!! I really love Agatha and Teen’s chemistry, and I really can’t wait for it to evolve. I’m still holding my theory that Teen is Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. While I understand that it seems impossible for him to be Wanda’s son, I still think he could be an alternate or this reality’s version, and that he has some sort of sigil, a protection spell, to keep him from revealing any info to at least Agatha. I’m also looking forward to the rest of the coven put their skills at work, and even Sharon’s role with them. The chant was truly supernaturally entrancing. I don’t what’s to come, but I do know that the journey Down the Witches’ Road has only begun. 😈🪄🪬🔮✨🎆🧪🩸🌱🔯🖤💜

Loved this premiere reaction!!! Kathryn Hahn’s portrayal of Agnes was giving me Sandra Bullock’s Miss Congeniality, and her return as Agatha had me screaming “She’s back!!!”. The chemistry between Agatha and Aubrey’s Rio was sadistically erotic. Something tells me that there was some sort of lovers to enemies storyline there; I can’t wait to find out more. Joe Locke as Teen was giving me Raven from Titans vibes, and his aesthetics were on point. I can’t wait for his return in Heartstopper season 3!!! 🔯🪄🔮🪬✨🎆🖤💜

In the book, they shape everyone's bodies and faces to the same general shape, pore-less skin, the same straight, even teeth, full lips, and inhumanly large eyes, like a Blythe doll. They look very unnatural, like full uncanny valley, but they're told from pretty much birth to believe that unless they look that way, they're ugly. The movie makes the transformed people look too normal, but I would imagine that it would have taken lot of iffy cgi to pull off how the Pretties looked in the books. Also, in the book, they never threatened to hurt Shay, it was straight up all about the surgery for Tally.

The book is just better paced this was very rushed. The pretty surgery is very different in the book

The sound effects can be off putting at first… but you gotta think of it as a “live action” cartoon, that’s basically what the show is. Promise, it will be much more enjoyable and understanding if you look at it like that. (That’s what the show writers were going for)

They did the book justice, it's just as bad. I was a bookworm at the time of these dystopias and I rushed to read this one, but I was DISAPPOINTED.

i remember the bungee vests from the book, Pretties basically use them like toys to jump off of tall buildings for fun without splatting onto the ground- but Tally's body wasnt modified by surgery yet so the vest didnt/couldnt calculate for the average height and weight of a pretty so it went haywire. in general: as a former/current? book stan- they changed A LOT of stuff in the movie. Theres Paris suddenly becoming a love interest/involved in the David love triangle instead of the character Zane as well as becoming a Special Circumstance- he does NOT become one in the book,, theres the movie having Dr Cable tell/lie to Tally about the smoke having a weapon and david being dangerous- in the book the threat is kept at "we just need to know where they are and then we can save/change you and Shay- these people are misguided",, i will say a positive change i liked was seeing David's dad death- it happens 'off screen' in the book, but i hated how Tally's clever and "tricky" as well as really stubborn personality just got washed up on the shore of the run time- its part of why in later books she gets chosen for things- the boldness- the gumption

The books were great in like 2010 (from what I remember which is mostly nothing) but it does not stand well to today
