I'm new to painting. I followed along to this video and rewound it like 100 times (lol). I never laughed so hard while painting my fluffy bird.....looks more like an ostrich I painted. I attempted it on an 11x17 canvas. I actually prefer the 8x10, keep it small for now as a newbie. Love your channel and I am a newbie to your channel.

I absolutely love your technique.. You are a lot of fun and have fun doing what you are doing, which makes me love painting as well.... I have dabbled in painting for many years I know about flooding and shadowing but you have gave me many other technique's that I did not really know... Awe, how cute! Can’t wait to try this one! Looking forward to learning your wood techniques for this. Fall paintings are my fave!! I always enjoy painting but OMG, I REALLY 🧡 painting pumpkins🎃, colorful fall leaves🍂🍁, ghosts👻, spooky trees, etc! Would it be too much to do a small pumpkin patch by a cornfield? Maybe there’s a lil scarecrow in there somewhere. If that’s too much detail for a beginner painting I understand, but I would love to paint a pumpkin patch. Even if it’s a small section of one. Or better yet, a Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark Painting! One of the original drawings in the books! We could paint Harold the scarecrow, or any of those creepy pictures! Those pictures gave me so many nightmares as a kid, but I loved them at the same time. Scary Stories & the Goosebumps books were all I really cared about at the book fairs. I remember doing extra chores just to save up money when I knew a book fair was coming soon. Memories!
