Easy Add DETAIL to DOLLHOUSE Mini Plastic / Glassware

SHORT VIDEO and Tutorial Showing How to Add Detail and Texture to Existing Miniature Glassware. I Wanted to add Some Decorative Detail to Some Dollhouse Plastic Glassware (and three real glass jars) and Used Pebeo Transparent Relief Outliner. Mod Podge Dimensional Magic Clear Might Work Well too but I haven't tired it. I Found These Plastic Dollhouse 'Glassware' Miniatures on Amazon UK Website (Be In Your Mind 2 Sets(34PCS) Dollhouse Miniature Cups 1:12 Scale Plastic). Some of the Items are Larger than 1:12th Scale but can Work well as Vases. I Think They Were a bit Too Expensive for What They are so It's Worth Looking for Other Options too. I’m surprised at how fantastic those look! Even when the lines weren’t perfect, that just made them look like super old glass with a ripple effect. Great idea

These look SOOO good! I wasn't sure at first when it was white, but it dries so clear. Looks like you bought them that way. You've turned cheap mass produced Chinese imports, and made them look like cut crystal glasses! They look so much better. I've just ordered a ton of nail stickers and tools because of you! 😂 Loved the music too, very Harry Potter ish, bit whimsical and mysterious. I love this channel. 😘 xxxxx

Thank you so much 💕😊 I have had this relief outliner for a while and because it dries clear, I thought it would be great for adding detail to plastic / glass. I have an old crystal glass bowl which has these dotted details and thought it looked so pretty. I wanted to try to recreate that. I'm glad you liked the video and the music too.

@@tinycraftlifeoooh, the gold would be especially good on the top edges. That’s a very common accent for crystal. :) I was wondering if you could paint them with translucent colors, so they’d turn out a solid color, like red or cobalt glass? Don’t know if the color would take, stay on, or be consistent over the two different materials, though.

I usually use a similar product from this brand to paint outlines on glass. But this one has to be baked! So impossible to use on plastic! Thank you for this discovery! 💞💞💞💞

Very nicely done! I have used Gallery glass to do something similar but it has a slight tacky feel after drying. Does the Pebeo dry non tacky?

Thank you! 😊💕It has dried completely (solid) and isn't tacky but I'm not sure how it works if you add a very thick layer.

Have you tried adding color, perhaps using stained glass paint?

I haven't tried yet but I am tempted to try. I have to test what types of paint would work well on plastic. I would think that stained glass paint would work well 💕😊
