Cool method. Worth mentioning that even if you go early, you'll still be in sync. As a failsafe you can just go after 4 Simon Says and always be safe (even if you actually have 5 or 6) because you'll still be 2 ticks apart. You might run out of space if you go on 2 or 3, but 4 should be plenty.

Do you mean like on the tick for the 4th one or after it? I get hit everytime when I tried that, with different ticks as well.

@@era1442I'm just saying that whatever the timing is in the video, you can apply that to *any* of the lights, not just the last one. You are basically just starting the cycle 2 ticks earlier. Since the cycle is "walk in, walk out, repeat", you still stay perfectly in cycle by doing that. Use the same timings he goes over in the video, but just apply it earlier. I'm fairly sure you are clicking *on* the tick the light glows up.

@@Zxv975 I definitely need more practice on this, tried it for like 30minutes and got it right sometimes. I'm still not 100% sure whether you anticipate the tick by clicking so that your "destination tile" appears at the same time as the light, or clicking after or "on" the sound/light appearing. Thanks though

@@era1442 should be the latter. Start on the outside, click when the lights glow and the sound plays.

Subbed bro, I spent 2 hours today learning this and mastering it and it makes double trouble and feeling special cheese invos. I am on the fang kit grind and man is it brutal. Just planked at P3 today, wish me luck

Great explanation of how to set it up with the yellow tiles. My method for when to start staircasing is ON THE TICK the symbol lights up. If you start your staircase on the 4th light you will always make it no matter what level the room is. So watch the lights and as soon as the 4th one hits you should be clicking at the same time it lights up.

It's a good method, my only problem with DT is that Akkha does the double spec every single minute and you gonna lose dps

Nobody uses DT unless on a 500 run and at that point dps doesn't matter a whole lot on akkha. If you aint doin dps, he aint either (usually). So you use 0 supplies during double trouble, only when he's active. I'd rather have a 7-8 minute akkha than trying to deal with Dehydration or Overly Draining (whichever you dont want).

dps doesnt matter if you don't take damage, adding timer invocations is omegatroll and if your salts run out then you gotta get higher stats or stop afking at the boss xd

BY THE WAY, if you're STILL having trouble figuring out the timing on when to click to start the staircase (as was I after I rewatched this video a few times), TRY THIS: Count EACH TICK (starting as the corners light up), if you are good at 1tick flicking this is probably pretty easy since you have the quadrant lights to visually help you stay on the right count. In this case (watch from time 1:03), since each quadrant's light is 2 ticks after the next, if you start on "one" as you see the yellow light up (cuz that's the first one), each other quadrant lights up on the rest of the odd numbers, so start at "one" when the first quadrant lights up and count outloud: 'two', 'three' (when you say 3 the white quandrant is lighting up), etc. You make your click (as did the person recording) AS YOU SAY "NINE". (For a level 4+ start clicking when you say "ELEVEN") ALSO, if you are able to dodge some but not all, that means you accidentally stayed on a tile for a tick, just be careful with your consecutive clicks to make sure they aren't too far apart from each other (or too soon!) (On my first time trying this method I got the akkha transmog, posting here in case others find this helpful)

whats the trick to getting the butterfly back after the staircase? it always feels like the orbs stay too long for you to start butterflying and he gets a hit off. Any way around that or are you always taking one melee?

Is there a way to get consistent transitions back into butterfly after the memory skip without taking hits and risking Akkha changing from melee?

with experience, youll be able to start bf from anywhere. sometimes requires a little juke. eventually, youve seen just about every scenario, and it becomes muscle memory.
