Watching early Easy Allies videos and comparing the video, audio, and camera angles to what they are now is so surreal.

Honestly, I think that 3rd person VR is the "killer app" for VR. Playing Robot's Rescue is not just _fun_, it is MAGICAL.. It is immediately easy to imagine a full game featuring the adorable ASOBI robots. I would buy that game, day one, without question. But it doesn't stop there: top-down RTS games (eg. Starcraft/Warcraft/Diablo) would be AMAZING in VR. Twin stick shooters like Dead Nation would also be really cool in VR, or 3rd person shooters like Mass Effect would be unlike anything we've experienced. And JRPGs are a NATURAL fit for the medium. I can only imagine playing the recently released Dragon Quest Builders in VR. VR isn't just for first-person: far from. 3rd person marries the same immersion as with first person games, but with the deep gameplay that we expect from games today. But the feeling of _being_ in these worlds is simply bewitching. 3rd person VR for the win.

Please. More Kyle in VR. He knows how to appreciate it! Watching Brad was a bit infuriating.

Brad's incredible Batman instincts and clutch key catch had me like "Brad might actually be Batman". But he's too tall. Still Batman VR is sweet, the ambiance was hitting me right in the feels just the way I like it. I wish consoles were capable of supporting big, juicy, realistic VR games beyond these kinds of smaller "game slices" (heh). They will be able to eventually, of course, someday... maybe even affordably. That's when I'll throw down for one.

The Croc 2 talk kinda interrupted one of the jolliest childlike moments of wonder in GT/EZA history. Bosman playing Robot Rescue reminded me of the reaction people had when the switch from 2D to 3D or SD to HD gaming happened. I played it the day before the stream and can only wholeheartedly agree with Kyle, it's absolutely magical. What I'm saying is I wish more allies were going along with him in that moment instead of obsessing over a dumb 15 year old game. Even though I get it's harder to relate when you're not wearing the headset.
