Not a correction but the Xenoblade 2 minigame’s name is “Tiger, tiger” because the name of Poppi’s driver is Tora (トラ). Tiger in Japanese is 虎, which... you’ve guessed it, reads as Tora. Tora, tora, tora was the radio message sent by the leader of the first aircraft squadron during the Pearl Harbor attack, signaling a surprise attack had been achieved, so maybe the repetition in the name of the minigame is an allusion to surprise attack???

I can't fully explain why, but the main game i really desire right now is Death Stranding. Especially after that last trailer. And i can't wait for TLOU2 and Cyberpunk but dang. Part of Kojimas herbs and spices i guess. If anyone wants to tell me why i feel this way, i'd be down with that.

Yeah, me too. It's the game that got me most excited throughout the E3, the second one being Cyberpunk, but yeah, that trailer was superb. Everything about this game looks superior, and also different, to the other games that were shown in E3. I mean, the attention to detail is out of this world. In fact, every Kojima game has had this kind of attention. Nothing in the game, visually or mechanically, is without a purpose. we've all played the MGS games; from MGS 2 and MGS 3 to The Phantom Pain. Gameplay-wise not even one bush is placed in those games without a reason and each one has a purpose, as each one's placement is delicately calculated and balanced. I can sense all these things in Death Stranding too. Every element in all the trailers, every scene and frame being shown to us, has a meaning. Even the posters, you look at them and know that Kojima is trying to tell us something. I remember Kojima saying in an interview that in the 80s, when he pitched the first ever Metal Gear to his boss, military games were becoming popular, but his idea was about a military game in which the hero has only a bandanna and a pack of cigarettes. And look where that got us, Kojima gave birth to a new genre. I can see that kind of potential in Death Stranding. This game is going to introduce new concepts to gaming. Kojima wants to do something new, he wants to elevate video games, as he's been doing with each game he has produced. I can also talk for hours about the art direction of Death Stranding and how different, unique and fantastic it is compared to the other games; from the landscapes to the costumes, to how each character looks, Death Stranding is also artistically fabulous. Death Stranding is the game I'm most excited about right now. I really want to be able to play it as soon as possible, but at the same time, I want Kojima to have all the time he needs to work as much as he wants on the game.

Danny Samman For me that trailer had the opposite effect. It killed any hype I had for the game. It looked like the game will be focused around stealth and exploration while you try to solve the mystery of what is actually going on. Seems like a very slow atmospheric experience with little to no gameplay and that is really boring to me. I could be wrong but ill pass on a walking simulator

You really think that this game is only going to be a walking simulator? I think he's purposely trying to slow drip the info without spoiling the main game. I hate when trailers show too much. And Kojima is the king of misdirection. So i can almost guarantee that the game is way more than we've been shown (which is still a lot more than most are giving credit) I'm feeling BotW open exploration, Silent Hills type story with some MGS gaming elements. Sounds good to me lol.

Assassins Creed 3 started off in a way that Kyle described at 2:53. You play as someone investigating happenings in the newly established American colonies and in the end of the first act discover that you have been playing as a Templar the whole time.

Correction for Fallout 76: 24-32 players instead of a dozen. (Source: NoClip Doc. Ben mentioned) Correction for Fallout 76: There will be NPCs, i.e robots and terminals but it'll very bare bones when compared to previous installments. There will also be humanoid characters found the new subset of feral/intelligent ghouls called the Scorched which will be able to wield weapons and act as raiders. The information provided within the NoClip Doc. was kinda spotty on whether-or-not you will be able to commune with the Scorched or if they will solely act as raiders. (Source: Interview with Keighley in the E3 Coliseum livestream - Also more minimal info on the Scorched at 1247 in the NoClip Doc.) Love and Respect Allies!

My impression from the coverage of Skull & Bones from E3 was that you don't really ever leave your ship, that cut to the player's character walking around a hub area was just a cutscene. The character customization is just for cutscenes too.

Hello Allies! This is Austin, behind Games within Games Trivia. I have some self-corrections, plus some factoids about some of the answers to the trivia. Self-Corrections: I wrote Pyoro (Bird and Bean), when I really meant Pyoro/Bird and Beans; as an alternate title rather than a translation. In WarioWare Inc., all versions were referred to as Pyoro, but much like Geometry Wars, the game got a downloadable solo release. This was for DSi Ware, but was renamed Bird and Beans everywhere except in Europe, where it retained the name Pyoro. Notably, Bird and Beans was one of the games played at the Nintendo World Championship 2017. Spitfire is in Bioshock 2: Miverna's Den, and not the base game. It was a dirty trick. The game is a nod to extremely early video games, such as Spacewar, and is a simple shooting game. Gone Home features an easter egg to Spitfire, with an SNES cartridge for Super Spitfire. Factoids: Pazaak is card game, that is best described as a trading card version of Blackjack. Caravan is also a trading card game, that specifically uses standard playing cards. You are allowed to have duplicate cards in your deck, as long as they have different branding from the different casinos.

The audio quality was seriously bad. They over-distorted often. Audio was tinny, lacking low-mid frequencies. Finding a say to make it not ring my eardrums in the car was a pain. I consciously did not enjoy the last few podcasts with the wearable mics.

I think it would be cool in Fallout76 if you could "build an NPC," like the character you make, you could attach a series of chat menus to them, and then when you log out, that character stays on the server in your place, just sort of chilling out wherever you leave them, maybe buying and selling things or offering small quests. If someone kills them or destroys their base or whatever, it wouldn't impact you, you'd get it all back when you logged in, but it would help flesh out the world to have all these characters wandering around on the server.

I don't usually get very hyped for stuff. I'm kind of laid back and like to be pleasantly surprised, so I manage my expectation. That those RE2 trailers. My goodness! It's like Capcom knew exactly how to touch my nostalgia bone. Also, like Huber, I swear by the fixed cameras of RE 1 to 3, but I'm still hyped for this game even if it's 3rd person (sad that the B-rated voice acting doesn't seem to be there, though). It looks incredible.

Kyle Paazak is a super nice game with a game! Each player gets card like +5/+2/-3 and to win you need to get the fastest to 10 (if I remember correctly)... The fastest wins the round and a the first to win 2 rounds wins. You can buy special cards that you can put in your deck which gives you better moves to get closer to 10 like +/-1

I know it's a playful thing, but the desire index would be better if it allowed multiple games at a certain value (Cyberpunk and Last of Us both a 10) and with no need to fill the whole scale (Maybe it goes from 2 to 8, or you skip a 7 entirely). The idea is that each number holds an intrinsic value as to desire, independently from the list of games. That way it's not just a re-skinned Rank the Significance, and also I figure anyway that there's no reason why the desirability of two games couldn't be equal. Am I taking this too seriously ? Is this a correction ?

Ever since Miyazaki (FromSoft) mentioned that he'd love to make a game that has the feeling of Escaflowne or Dunbine I've been hoping to see that game. It is basically my dream game. And it seems like Babylon's Fall could potentially be it. Even tho I imagine its combat system to be more Souls than Platinum. Still, not complaining, I'm actually thrilled. Platinum is the second on the list after FromSoft when it comes to Gameplay. I can't wait to play as a moderately large Medieval fantasy Mech and duel other Mechs using large swords.

If you want to get into Resident Evil buy the "Resident Evil / biohazard HD REMASTER". Arguably the best game in the series and the beginning of the story. You just need to get the hang of dodging zombies and you will love the game.

Everyone shut up. Babylon's Fall had me pumped. Hints at a huge lore, combat that involves ripping off opponent's arms and using their weapons against them, Platinum developing with Square publishing. I'm not saying it's number one on desire but it deserves better than 10, I say a solid 6.
