That's not as important as the angle and placement of the fog lights. Because they are lower to the ground they light up the road easier and are less likely to reflect back on the fog that is higher up. Having yellow fog lights that are too high would be worse then white fog lights that are low down.
@Hughvet Жыл бұрын
Actually, the yellow tint greatly assists and improves our physical eyes to discern images while driving in poor conditions. This has been studied by the AASA. Regardless, go middle road lumens and yellow tint. Your brain will thank you.

When a car is 5-7 years old it's the best time to buy. Most of the depreciation is done (these cars were $40k+ when new and under $20k now) but they are still mechanically new. Pretty common to get one of these for under $20k an well below 100k miles. Got mine for $18k (including NY tax) 2012 G37xS coupe, all options, from an INFINITI dealership, with only 49k miles on it. If you want a more practical version get the sedan. If you want more of the fun factor and speed get the coupe. Back seats are okay for anyone under 6 feet for like a 30 min ride.

BUT, I gotta call you out on the air filter deal there- you didn't clean anything lol. You're supposed to spray the cleaner, let it sit for a little, then WITH A WATER HOSE clean them from the inside out. Once dry, THEN you put oil on them. All you did there was made a mud-like coat of degreaser/ oil on the filter that will eventually kill your MAF sensors. So if you haven't re-done this properly, do it soon my friend! You didn't say what kind of paint you were using. So if it's NOT high heat, it's gonna crack and peel on you. And when it does, DO IT RIGHT the second time!! Get you some primer and a sheet of sand paper. Scuff it up a lil bit with the sand paper, so the primer and paint will stick. Make sure it says "high heat" on the can!! Then hit it with the primer a few times. Then let it dry. Won't take long. Then using the paint, spray evenly in the same direction(you were all over the place). After the paint has dried, get some clear and do the same thing as the paint. Let it dry for a few hours. To cure, let it sit bout a DAY! You will see a HUGE difference!! Now those intakes ain't doing nothing for you!! Should have went long tubes or kept the stock boxes. Short tubes just suck in hot heat. Maybe you'll swap out down the line. @MrPvPzmc4 жыл бұрын
Maybe you could sand it down and try again? Or have some more practice with it. Paint from 6 inches away doing light coats to start and not just spraying randomly. Also a primer would have helped with the cracking type look and it needed paint prep spray or tack cloth not apc cause apc can have oils that make the paint not stick right. Also I would have gone with a matte or hammered paint it would have blended better with the coarse finish already present. I doubt you care this much but if you want a car show ready engine bay you can take these steps. Also with the air filter you should have sprayed on the cleaner, let sit for 15 mins wash with cold water from the inside going out until it runs clear then do a light misting of the airfilter oil because now your maf sensor is gonna get coated and it's gonna gum up your intake and you need to clean the maf for it to run good again.
