@2:59 if you want to roll the windows back up you dont need to enter the car all you need to do is take the key, insert it in the lock and turn it either left or right, you will see the window go back up on its own.

That narrow pass though in the back seat into the trunk area I've used for cross-country skies and other long skinny items. More handy than you'd think actually.

The hold between your rear seats are so snow skies can fit through when you put them in the trunk.

where do you find the fuse for the emergency flashers? Mine is malfunctioning and turns on the lights at any given time and runs the battery down
@Mary-80Ай бұрын
Also I don't know about the G37 but the G35 has a black button when you open up the driver side door((this black button is not on the door it's on the inside where the door closes)... hold that in if you 10 seconds it'll go for a test run for three times it'll repeat three times it will do your horn your coolant fan your blinkers your headlights ect. Most important open your hood so you can see coolant fan because it tests that as well it's pretty cool feature . You'll know if you have any blown fuses and what I really like is testing coolant fan 1: Open driver's side door look down to the right on the side youll see a black spongy button hold in for ten seconds it will automatically start the process of 3 repetitions ...including blowing your horn so so this at a decent hour 😂

You didn't mention the way to tap into your stereo so you can change the settings for your amp in the back . It's Tricky it's like hold the info button and spin the volume knob like four times or something I can't remember.

Anytime buying used it comes down to if the individual previous owners took care of it. I recently got a 2012 Infiniti G25 with 181k on it. Despite 3 previous owners and the high miles, the entire car inside and out looks like it just rolled off the factory floor. The leather seats arent even cracking or anything, and the engine and transmission look and feel fresh in performance. I goofed up and accidently put E85 the first time I filled it up and it didnt even care, the CPU and sensors still did their job they were made to do over a decade ago and adjust the timing for the lower octane gas. I actually had to double check the manual to make sure its supposed to take 91 because the car was running perfectly lol. But thats mine. Then there is another car with only 95k on the dash and the owner abused the heck out of every one of those miles, didnt do any maintenance, didnt change the oil, has a leak in the transmission, cracked a tie rod, and ripped up the seats from little do-dads and tools in their pants or on their belt. Given the choice, my 181k is a much better car than that 95k. Cars are built to be ran. The number on the dash has become secondhand for the condition, but whats more important is the care the prior owners put into it. If it got the oil changed on the regular, transmission maintenanced at the 100k mark, wasnt driven like a Formula 1 car Mon-Fri as a daily driver on the highway, wasnt in a collision, and any problem it did have got taken car of ASAP before causing further damage and side effect damages to other systems, isnt rusting through the undercarriage...then it could have 200k on the dash and still be a great car for MANY years and many more miles.
@Eurolanta62 ай бұрын
@@GamerGateVeteranyou have no idea how cars work or vqs for the fact. First of all high mileage car driven on highway speeds is new compared to a car driven only short intervals and short distances once in a while and say more then it was driven. Infinitis love being driven spirited. Almost every Infiniti I’ve owned crossed way over 200k miles and I drove them hard every where I went. I would use mobile 1 FS 0-40 and change oil on time and make sure the car was always taken care of with any issues it came across. Used oem sensors for every sensor replacement. Replaced cam and crank shaft ps all at once soon as I bought the car using denso sensors(oem). I do coolant flush and use green coolant for models older then 09 vqs and blue oem coolant for models newer. And Infinitis aren’t going to give you any check engine codes up until 150-170k miles. Usually till then it’s just regular oil changes with good oil and regular 60k trans flushes or every 30k for spirited drivers.. same 30k spirited or 60 interval with the rear diff. If awd do front too. I’ve never seen a well maintained Infiniti need a timing chain/gallery gasket replacement on HR motors. Unless their services were shit. Usually vq35de motors found in older gs and zs have the notorious water pump propeller brake and start pissing coolant. Other then that they wouldn’t even need gallery gaskets if maintained but since changing pump go ahead service gaskets also. VhRs are the most notorious gallery gasket engines. Despite what the consensus thinks. Only the late 14+ models got the upgraded gallery gaskets and intake manifold. 06-08 M45s usually the most notorious for engine failures out of all vqs. And the new vr30t are beating them with more failed engines then the m45s had. In my 10+ years as Infiniti master tech the best vqs are the vq35hr. They hold the most horsepower record on n/a motor. (Sasha’s 350z vq35hr making over 500whp n/a on vq35) Also z1 long tube intakes are 100% Alibaba intakes with z1 logo. The best long tube intakes for vqs are the 3” triggaspec long tubes. Better then admin tuning 3”. Best power headers are PPE long tubes. Best exhausts w most power gains are tomei single exit or isr single exit. Bigger throttle bodies on hr and vhr are shit mods and cause throttle lag. Upper and lower ported manifolds make the best power thru out the whole rpm range for hr and VhRs. Vq35des don’t need porting plenum spacer is all u need. Vhr injectors on the hr and de platform are cheapest fuel modification to do that will result in more power across whole rpm range if maxed out on fbo. Don’t need it if basic bolt Ons. Metal valve covers on vqs from czp and Amazon are heat soak kings. Shit mod. Stick with oem plastic. They’re plastic for a reason and can support 1000whp fine. Do not use breather filters on valve covers. Retain that factory or equivalent setup. Cross breathing keeps coil packs from misfiring as often as they would. Do regular pvc replacements especially with tuned vehicles. Clean maf sensors every 10k miles with maf cleaner. K&N drop in filters are not a sufficient engine cleaning filter for dusty conditions. If your stock air boxes missing bottom baffles upgrade your intakes because they’re not as efficient anymore. Also if using factory intakes make sure your guides aren’t bent and are guiding air thru the hole in front of the rad support . Also Running no engine under shrouds hold you back on the highway. Long trips will see deduction in mpg without them. Keep ‘em on if you travel long highway distances. Have seen tore belts and cracked oil pans on slammed vqs. If you have power steering leak and wonder why your belt keeps breaking replace power steering pump. Notorious for leaking under higher rpm’s and getting oil all over the engine and belt causing it to slip. When taking off Under full throttle sport mode in D is better then any shifting you’ll do. Pushing it on the highway is different you can get better down shift rpm position then the stock computer will pick up on. Last but not least best Infiniti ever made is 07-08 G35S sport sedan. Worst one is 2008 G37. Best gearing ever made in a stock vq is 3.9 diff from 370z nismo. And if I could do only 3 mods on a 07-08 G35s sedan. It would be afe takeda long tubes intakes with aem seperate 5” filters and cutout 2.5” maf housing on piping and replace with 3” maf piping in that section. Mod 2 would be ported factory hr manifolds with very aggressive ports and mod 3 would be 3.9 370z nismo diff with tune and I’m beating any vq on the road. Bet money?

@@Eurolanta6 1) Ive been working on cars and trucks since I was 12, working side by side with my dad who was a highly respected mechanic specializing in BMW's for a number of years after he came out of the USMC where he was the chief mechanic for a helicopter unit. I BUILT my first car from the ground up, a 1980 Chevy C10 single cab short bed body and frame was all I started with, and when I sold her that 305 V8 had embarrassed many a Mustang owner doing redlight racing. My Infiniti is the first car I ever purchased with no intention of ever doing any mods to it. Its too perfect as is, and I want to take it to a million miles or as far as it will go. But dont make stupid assumptions about strangers. 2) Paragraphs and spacing. Figure it out if you are going to type out an essay that long. 3) Read what you've typed out before hitting "Reply", and ask yourself "Could I literally delete most of this and have my message get across exactly the same?" I say that, because while you start by trying to "call me out for not knowing anything about cars", you very quickly got lost in the weeds of your own BS, yapping about yada yada that has honestly nothing to do with the focus of the conversation. Dont do that. You didnt even go anywhere with it and try to tie it all back into a point, you just yapped and then left it like that. 4) If you are going 100+ MPH every day of the week, weaving around traffic like you are in a legit race every time you go back and forth to your Mon-Fri job, it is a FACT, not a random internet opinion, that not only are you risking damage from a higher probability of a collision, but just that constant aggressive style of driving will cause extreme wear and tear on your vehicle. While you stupidly tried (and failed) to focus on the VQ engine on that topic, I had already (correctly) highlighted that there are several other parts on a vehicle that also experience wear and tear. If you honestly believe that driving aggressively on the regular is not putting extra wear and tear on your parts, then frankly you are an idiot who must be more used to racing in video games rather than real life. The VQ engine (especially the HR generation) loves to go fast and hard, but that doesnt mean the rest of your car can handle that all the time, especially on these cars that are over a decade old.
