A very interesting project. I made two already after watching the tutorial yesterday. I made the first one exactly like you did but in 2nd I used my creativity. I attached both the lining and the top fabric right sides together for 6.5 inches seam . then flipped the right sides out and adjusted the top lining part equally on both seams. Then top stitch that seam. It took two extra seams but it saved me time in folding and ironing the ends of lining and end result was neater . Rest of the procedure was same for both. Thanks for such an amazing tutorial.

@@amyshoemaker1566 I buy pillowcases at the Salvation Army for 50 cents. Sew a buttonhole a couple of inches from the top near the side seam and another buttonhole on the opposite side of the pillowcase. Put a pin on the top and bottom of the buttonhole (ask me how I know!), cut open the buttonhole. Fold the cuff an inch or so to the inside. Sew the cuff below the buttonholes. Top stitch the new top edge of the bag. Thread two cords through the buttonholes and knot. We do a lot of mission trips, so I like to add a 6" piece of webbing to the top of the bag so I can hang up the laundry bag on a doornob.

@@twinstar9 The "handle" lets you hang the open laundry bag on the door so you don't have to untie it each time you need to add more dirty clothes. Plus it is easier to carry the full bag of clothes as the handle doesn't cut into the palms like the cording would.

Riley, I was coming onto the youtube channel to look for something new and exciting to make with scraps of fabric. I need a new idea to make some cool creations for an upcoming craft sale I am doing and OMGOSH - THIS IS SO VERY AWESOME. I wrote down the measurements and I took a photo with my cell phone and saved this to my favorites but, I will have to erase the top 20 favorites to bring your's closer to the top. This will be my new #1 fabric craft. I have never heard of these or seen them. I was at a Dollar Tree earlier today to buy jute string and sure wish I had seen this earlier in the day to have bought a measuring tape. If my boss's tape measure disappears on Monday......just teasing. I am a "good" preacher's dtr I wouldn't take anything that isn't mine. I think what I was originally going to make for my mom, sister and niece for Easter is now on the back burner and I will make these snap bags. I already bought little sticky pads the shape of bunnies so I think they will fit into the snap bag. These are just unreal. On another note too, your finger nails are so pretty with your jewelry. I do shipping and receiving at my job so my hands/finger nails are terrible. My boyfriend always tells me I should make you tube videos because I make nice beaded jewelry and other nice sewn items but, I always tell him, "not with these hands". Also most of the you tube girls are so pretty and I don't think I would also want to be filmed on that accord. My braces on my teeth didn't fix my problem that I originally had and ask I get older my teeth have really bothered me. But, I have a good heart I believe and I am always there to help others when they are in need and my good deeds are what counts. Anyway, thank you for an awesome new project. I am so excited the Dollar Tree's will be sold out soon of their tape. I might try to use duct tape also instead of electrical tape as duct tape is thicker. HAPPY SPRING 2019!! - Rebekah from Alexandria, VA

It is really cute and fast. A good tip would be to place the tape measure down before folding over the ends and mark where you need to sew (removing tape measure first) to ensure it will slide in easily and not be too small of a pocket. Measure so you won’t have to rip.
