I haven't sewn in easily 30 years. Picked up an old Singer at Goodwill and been trying to find small easy projects to try. Came across this video and it looked like a good place to start. Mine didn't turn out quite right but it's a start. Gotta work on my seam allowance. Your video was very easy to follow. I will definitely be giving this one a go again. Thank You!!!

Just found this and only had 5” wide fabric but it still worked. The outside was a men’s silk tie and lined with cotton. I lowered the bottom pocket and top stitched it as well and it came out beautifully! I need to find the poppers you use. I only have the old metal ones and I’m always worried about them getting rusty! Thanks so much for this lovely video tutorial. Now I need to go clean up my bits! 😉

Any idea what dimensions to use for 4 1/2 “ width? length? Depth of pocket? etc. I’d like it to be slightly larger than a credit card. We gave some of our makings out at next year's tote and gloat quilters day asspot prizes and the rest we gave to a group called starlight to give out to mental health clients at Christmas. The small pursews able to hold f the little motel soaps and body wash and made a lovely gift. Only problem was as the colours for the symposium were mint and grey everyone got items made in mint and grey. !! Anyway feedback from recipients was positive . Thank you fir your free pattern😅
