I really love using clear shoe boxes in the kitchen and house because you can see whats inside and not forget that you even have certain things.Plus there small enough that they do not get too heavy.

I just found your videos the other day & have been binge watching. I have been organizing and decluttering this year. Used the same type of idea for cupboards but used colourful plastic bins from Dollarama and then labelled them. It has such a calming effect because it looks neat and tidy, things are put away AND items are so easy to find.

I have a very very tiny kitchen, and I use a similar system: the 3 cupboards I do have are very deep, so all of them have 2 layers. Front layer is big stuff or small stuff in a container; the rule is I have to be able to take it out with one hand so I can grab what I need from the second layer with my other hand. Pans, plates, herbs in a big container, mixing bowl: all front layer and easy to remove or reach over! You're not the only one who gets excited organising their kitchen ^^

I love love love to use baskets and bins throughout my house. I have them everywhere. My son hates going to the Dollar Tree with me since they get in new baskets/cloth bins/plastic bins all the time and I come out with $10 worth every week. To make the pan pretty too you could line the bottom with shelf liner (the self stick stuff). Then it would look even nicer. Great idea! Thanks :)

Great to find someone as excited by baskets and organising as I am. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I use old serving trays for my toaster and other appliances. Another good tip is that in my drawer where I store all my kitchen utensils I have placed non slip rug mesh and they all stay in place!

Hers' another great idea for your kitchen storage... Buy a dish drain at Dollar store and stack your pot lids in the dish drain.. works great and much easier to locate matching lids for your pots...

I am using a small basket in corner of cupboard for my popcorn bottles. And have lazy Susan in front of it for all the popcorn accessories. So much easier and space saving/usable. Thanks!

I already have baskets in my fridge, and I have loads of cupboards but no idea how to organise them! I've used containers for some stuff but never thought of the baking sheets awesome!!! Another great idea is tension rods in the front of your pan drawer so ur lids can be pressed up right & stack

OMG! I love the bin for the Tupperware. Thank you thank you. My husband thanks you. He hate when he opens the cabinet and all of them fall out. I use the clear shoes boxes from bed, bath and beyond in the pantry I have so mush space. Who knew!

I think I might have to go to "Dollar Tree" in the morning when they open and buy about twenty cookie sheets to do exactly what you did. At $1.00 each, I think I can afford it! I have DEEP cupboards that are L shaped in the corners and this WILL ROCK for getting into the deep recesses of those cupboards! TOTALLY smart idea your step mother had! In Deniece Schofield's "Confessions of an Organized Housewife" first published in 1982 & updated in the 90s, she used dishpans to organize in her kitchen and then she used Kitty Litter Pans as a pull-out drawer. She also used both in the kids rooms for toys and books. She stored large. kitchen items that she didn't use often in a Rubbermaid box in the garage. Then she put a 3x5 card on the inside of the cabinet door with a list of what was in the box in the garage.

Yes, it might be on the isle where the disposable items are, like trash bags, mops. If your store has registers the left side as you walk in, the isle should be furthest to the left. It is this way in three of the stores I have shopped at. I was amazed that they had them the one time I bought them!

I love your videos! You make me laugh, especially after a stressful day when I need a chuckle. I use a basket for my plastic containers and another one for the lids. They sit side by side and the lids never get lost. I keep the lids in Ziplok bags according to their size.

@ohpineapples, I bought some plastic bins with a pull handle fm the dollar store. They are too long to fit in my upper cabinets and still shut the cabinet door. But, I have a large bottom cupboard where my pots and pans go, and there is this short shelf under there, and three of these bins fit on that shelf. I use one for dishtowels, one for dishcloths, and one for extra potholders.

.....your pans normally. Another great one is tension rod in the front & back vertical in a cabinet then u have a cheap vertical cookie sheet type organization cabinet. Another idea I love is from my aunt- put newspaper at the top of your cabinets so when kitchen dust & goo gets up there cleaning up there is just a matter of replacing newspaper. Thnx for ur great idea hope u like some of mine. & yes I get excited too lol

You don't need a new toaster (unless you just want one), you simply need to clean the one you have (and the blender base). Barkeeper's Friend is amazing and will make it look brand new.

You are so funny! Really enjoyed your video. The baskets look great. All of my bottom cabinets have this half shelf in the back so I wouldn't be able to use the slide outs for my appliances. I do have a couple slide outs in the kitchen (found them at the Goodwill). I put one under my kitchen sink and the other one in a bottom cabinet. I use my blender for smoothies so I store the glass part on it's side and the motor base next to it in the other slideout. My worst cluttered cabinet is where I store my glasses and tervis tumblers. I have glasses of all sizes, tumblers of all sizes, those to go insulated mugs and I even manage to store the bowls in there. Not sure why I am sharing all this. Have a great day.

I have baskets all over the house, my husband hates it! Haha. Just to name a few I have a basket in our living room holding all of our mags, I have two baskets by the back door holding gloves, mittens and hats and I have a basket in my pantry holding things like wax paper, ziplock baggies, trash bags.
