Amazing use of improvised tools! Every artist, even strict realists, can benefit from working abstractly some of the time, to explore different techniques and color combinations. It can be very liberating to just push the paint to its limits! Very nice!

I absolutely love abstract art. I just stumbled upon your channel and I'm glad I did. This is exactly what I need to get me out of a stagnant artistic slump..lol... This was so great. I was having a hard time today and had ripped out a page from my sketch book I was about to throw away, then turned it over and looked for videos and started this one. I did the second painting and it was so freeing and relaxing. I love these abstracts to get out of my brain and just play. It's just paper. And I'm not looking to sell this, just to have fun painting in the process!

This looks fun! Thank you for always inspiring us! A person could use a plastic palette knife too. I’ve had fun painting plain water stripes, leaving dry area…then paint across with the color using a “dry” brush. You get a cool dry/booming effect. 😊
