What I really like is how much thought you put in your lines and color choices. When I thought loose I mistakenly thought everything is spontaneous, free of planning or much thought. It seems that the important part is learning to work with what happens spontaneously. Making the “happy accident” work for you.

I rarely comment under videos and most of the time it is part of a discussion, but I have to thank you! I'm 26 years old and I never really was creative besides problem solving. I was always more of a rational person and less an artistic one. The few times I tried drawing I was frustrated after only 2 strokes or so. The line was't straight enough, or it was to straight and everything was awful and I was frustrated. You and urban sketching as an art form helped me to discover an amazing way to express myself. I never thought I would see the day where I'm not only finishing a drawing but be proud of what I did. And then do it again. and again. Thank you so much! Your videos are amazing, you are amazing and I wish you nothing but the best!

Wonderful lesson, easy to follow. My only problem is how do we pick the colours, and what should we colour? I thought that the blue truck was going to become blue, I thought we had to paint the roofs, but I was wrong. Do you have a video on deciding what to paint? Either - a dodgy batch, your using more water than me, or simply an effect of filming vs real life :)
