If the farm isn’t working for some of you place the composter outside the farm next to the bed and it should work just fine,also don’t build two farms next or on top of each other one of the farms will not work this is all from personal experience hope this helps 👍🏿

I highly recommend keeping a 2 square space within the farm with a bed, I made all possible farms in different corners of a village, and all the farmers stop working after a period of a couple days not sleeping. My production went up 2x when I did this, but I kept the composter outside of the glass. I also added a trapdoor in the middle pane to be able to trade with whichever villager you trap in the small 1 square hole. Now everything is working and Im laughing! Why are there trapdoors added to the hoopers but then at the end of the video the farmer is standing on top of the bare hoppers? Should the trapdoors be removed at some point or was than an error in the video?

I got both carrot and potato farms, 2 separate but are built next to each other. For some reason my potato one isn’t working even though I gave him 3 stacks but my carrot one works with just giving him like less than 30 what do I do because removing the trapdoors didn’t work and I tried adding more beds to psych them out

Did you drop some for the villager first? If they are still not depositing then try to remove the trapdoors above the hoppers as sometimes they wont find place to reach the other villager and they stop dropping.

Try swapping out the recipient with a new one. They will eventually get filled by stray food and no longer a target for the farmer.

You could put rail system with minecart hopper under the soil to pick up the dropped crops (they will fall through the soil) then deposit into a hopper and chest.

does anyone know how to solve this issue? my villager won’t pick up the farmer job, i’ve made multiple villagers and haven’t locked in any trades i even put them in one by one areas and they won’t latch on i’ve put down so many composters and i’m putting them inside i literally brought a farmer villager there and when i deleted the composters around it so he would latch on to the middle one he completely changed professions i don’t know what to do

the farmer will only throw crops after its inventory is somewhat full, also check if the villagers are properly linked. and for the hoppers, you need to connect them to the chest while placing it. the hoppers are probably not connecting to chest
