The language that he used is also the enchantment table language, also known as standard galactic, and a few weeks ago, I memorised this language, and he has actually translated them from English to galactic. There was a really secret base which needs a specific block with a specific name to open a piston door. You just drop the item on whatever block on the ground you choose and it can open a piston door, then you can use tripwire to then close the piston door. That is a very good secret base if you need it.

My version of a secret base was very annoying. Way back in the day, I made a base that used the server's limit on loaded chunks as part of the tool. I made it so you put a button down on a specific block, and hitting it would instantly trigger a quick piston to knock it down. Then it just went through dozens of chunks in timing circuits, so you had to follow the path in the overworld that was unmarked. It took a not insignificant amount of time, but if you ran at the right speed, the rock face on a very distant mountain would open up just as you arrived. It was an absolute monster to build, and I had to do it very far out to avoid accidentally hitting another base. Honestly, the distance from spawn was probably deterrence enough, considering this was before elytra.

The arrow powering the pressure plate is actually pretty simple. If you turn on hitboxes (f3+b), you'll see that the arrow has a pretty big hitbox. When you shoot the block, the arrow's hitbox goes slightly into the block and is high enough to overlap the pressure plate. Since arrows can be used to trigger wooden buttons and pressure plates, the game just thinks it's pressing it.
