If you're after a barkeeper to build a tavern in Conan Exiles Age of War Chapter 3, well the purge is actually kind of easy if built right. You can get a barkeeper from low level purges. Ill Show you how to get protective followers to help and talk about base design. then fight tier 1 purges till i get a Barkeeper

I was under the impression I needed to get the archer station before ranged thralls could be used effectively, but nope :D Three purges done with a design based on this, works perfectly!

I got a scroll for advanced ammunition doing the harpy caves. It included Acid arrows. Mix it in with your archers to increase special AOE damage

On the Rhino mount point, I find that useless. My rhino doesn't fight anything, it just runs away

i know it is an odd mechanic. They should have a temperament similar to elephants where if you fight them they fight back.

You can get the barkeep at a level 1 purge. But even level 1 purges are currently broken. Especially the demolishers. They'll one tap a tier 3 gate. They one tap tier 3 foundations. And this isn't going to get fixed until some point in January. At least from what Funcom says. But then again the radius of the tavern keeper is roughly 6 blocks around them. So if your tavern didn't work quite how you wanted that's why. I'm not sure how soon you can earn the sellsword, I'd had him pop up twice once in a level 2, and again in a level 3. Yes I've been testing each level of purge so far to see what odds of getting them is. And honestly regardless of level of purge it's 50/50. Half the time they'll be there. The other half the time they aren't. This is a rough estimate of percentage and based off of my own personal trial. As I'd gotten my tavern keeper my first level 1 test. And he wasn't there the second run. And again the sellsword I'd had pop up my first level 2 run. Then my second level 3 run. So I'm not seeing any degree of increased chances at obtaining either with higher level purge yet.

Where do buy thralls? I have looked all over sepmeru, and I have not found any merchant or thrall trader there at all.

My biggest problem is getting tier 3 and tier 4 alchemist so I can make oil and poisonous gas orbs for all my other stuff. For this reason. The purges are nearly impossible even at Threat Level 1 to pull off as there are so many raiders. I do have a trap and kill zone leading up to my treasure room but without gas arrows. The major issue is all my thralls fall through the floor of my base and end up being completely useless permanently. I wish there was a way to recall them after they sink

The Barkeepers i get from the Purges did not work for me. All the time i try to place them behind the Bar, i get the message "must be placed on walkable floors" (Singleplayer). I tried different foundations, maps and i tried it without cielings or foundations, but all the time the same problem. Is this a bug for everybody in Single or do i make something wrong?

The reason you didn't get corruption when making the zombies is because you don't get it when in creative mode. Creative mode lets you do everything even all the spells and not get hurt or corrupted.

Next up... Funcom nerf STR and AGIL alot more! then make expertise the #1 attribute... coz if you can't hold a katanna ( so old school) and if you can't hold a warhammer (even older old school) then funcom wants you boxing!
