August, it's wonderful ❤ I've never done a swipe successfully, my osteoarthritis makes it difficult to stay steady enough so I don't dip too far into the base.

Ahh I’m sorry to hear that. Swipes and palette knife work is my favorite. It seems for me the thicker my paint the less likely I’ll dig into the pillow. I just tried BERH Dynasty for the first time today and it was really thick. I thinned it down with JoSonja/water but it was definitely a nice thick consistency for swiping.

It’s so hard to know with these paint companies. Today I picked up a can of BEHR Dynasty and it was so much thicker than Lisa said. She just bought a new can and said it’s really thick, too, but the last can wasn’t. It’s so frustrating.

Thanks so much, Kimmer!! I think the largest canvas I’ve done is a 20”x20” on this table. I need to rearrange my studio to get a larger table in there so I have more room for the large pieces. And I need another camera for the Facebook reels because with these small pieces I can get the reel format right from this video, but when I try a larger piece the reel format cuts off too much of the painting. That being said, I’ll see what I can do to get some larger pieces going. Thanks for being here and for your thoughtful comments. 💙☺️
