A state trust permit is only 15 dollars so why not just get it so you could stop along the way if wanted

We didn't know anything about state trust land or permits. Where do you pick up a permit?

Hi Kerry. Off topic question but what are your thoughts on the Skydio 2 drone?
@TrailTraveler2 жыл бұрын
Its is really an amazing drone for its tracking and obstacle avoidance and I would be using one if the camera was a little better.
@hereto2462 жыл бұрын
@@TrailTraveler thanks. As this would be by first drone I’m thinking the tracking and avoidance are keys. Maybe once I had more experience a Mavic Air 2. Use would be purely for my own enjoyment. Is this flawed thinking?
@TrailTraveler2 жыл бұрын
Only because I am a camera snob I haven’t bought ones yet. It’s a good machine and your thinking is sound.

Pretty much yes. A one would be a paved or well graded road that you could take any vehicle on.

@@TrailTravelerso like can a Chevy equinox get through it with road/trail tires. I just love being outdoors and would like to drive this but that’s the vehicle I have.

@@Richie-q7m Its a very easy road, I wouldn't hesitate to take our Subaru there. You just have to watch out for the ruts.

@@KerryGarrison ok cool thank you I appreciate it. Having a Chevy equinox I do what I can to try to enjoy the outdoors still.

Dude…that trail is meant for dirtbikes and byciclists….not your vehicle….it is not an “off reading” trail for your Jeep. Secondly, the trails in arizona are not “up-kept” by anyone other than the people themselves…your jeep ruins the trail.

I'm sorry, could you please point me to some information on that. My understanding was that forest roads are open to all vehicles.

Tracy, I just looked this up on the Coconino National Forest Travel Map, 2022. I'm assuming the loop driven is FR 301 and FR301D. The route is marked as "Road open to all vehicles, all year". There are some trails nearby that are non-motorized trail, so perhaps these are the trails you are thinking about.
